Amazing. One of best disks the Nomads have done.

What a top CD this is, 11 tracks of high octane garage and boogie woogie from the Kings of Swedish garage - The Nomads. As ever the CD is dominated by Hans Ostlunds lead guitar, his trademark licks and riffs being all over every song, as his six string adds depth and clarity to the retro garage sounds of the band. Listening to this CD transports me to a time in the middle '80s, when Swedish garage was at its height, via bands like The Watermelon Men, The Shoutless, Hidden Charms and The Bangsters. The Nomads, however, were always the band at the top of the tree and it is scandalous that they have never achieved commercial acclaim. Still, it is not too late, so buy this CD and stomp around your room to the garage that never closes.

On ne remerciera jamais assez la Suède de nous avoir apporté les Nomads. Près de 30 ans qu'ils enregistrent des bombes atomiques auditives de mélodie & de puissance. Celles ci sont les dernières en date.Ce sont un peu les parrains de cette scène dite "high energy" mais pas seulement. Leur influence s'étend, à mon avis bien au-delà (grunge, power pop, ...). Tous les albums des Nomads sont excellents. On reconnait immédiatement la touche Nomads mais on se s'en lasse jamais. J'envie ceux qui découvrirons les Nomads avec ce disque....et remonterons ainsi leur discographie. Bon voyage.Le 24/4/2016 => J'amende et rajoute une étoile..parcequ'ils le valent bien !!!

Garagistes scandinaves aux affaires depuis 30 ans, les Nomads ont eu, il est vrai, des hauts et des bas, mais là incontestablement il sont en hauts même au sommet de leur art !!! INDISPENSABLE !!!!!
