After shopping around, I went with these shades. I bought one first and then ordered four more of the same size. The shades were easy to hang (I even used the existing holes from the previous shades), and the hanging brackets allow for two hole options in case I was off by a half inch. I attached two photos to show the difference at night and during the day. They definitely aren’t completely room darkening (which I knew from other reviews), but they certainly help to cut down on the heat from the big window which gets direct sun, like, 25 hours a day. They’re easy to lift, although we will be gentle pulling them down as it is just a string in the pulley-lifting system. Overall, I would buy these again for additional windows in my home due to the price, the availability of size options, and the ease of installation.

I bought this to replace a mini blind that had seen better days. I have always liked the look of bamboo blinds and wanted to upgrade to something better than the old two triangle shaped hooked blinds that were popular In the last several decades but tended to break off as they grew brittle. These are good quality blinds because it is a woven type of blind. The attachment tools create a very secure hanging with slots in the top wood bar that a bolt fits through secured by a wing nut. The cordless shade is easy to pull up and down as well.

Overall, I'm very satisfied with these shades. They suit the look I was going for aesthetically for a price I could actually afford. I love how easy they are to hang! I waxñs able to hang all of them by myself without any trouble. Note: you do need a screw gun.Also, as it says, they are LIGHT FILTERING...not blackout. I'd say their effect is similar to sitting under decent tree shade on a sunny day or when a cloud briefly blocks out the sunshine. This was all I needed for my west-facing windows. My house is offset in such a way that anyone driving on the cross-streets outside could see inside my home so I wanted something that would offer privacy, yet still allow for a nice amount of light and an open feel. These do just that. They look great with curtains and without.As others have mentioned, they are slightly less aesthetically pleasing from the back as you can see the white cords for the pull mechanism, but that would only bother me if these were more expensive.A few other negatives for me are that you can see the black plastic pull mechanism on the top even through the flap, they are quite delicate (I snapped a twig or two just unraveling them and getting th hung), and 2 out of the 3 I've ordered and put up are slightly crooked (not related to user error).Ultimately, I would recommend (although I might regret it if they become out of stock or the price goes up lol).

We absolutely love these blinds! They look great and work just as good. We just finished hanging the 7th set we purchased, that arrived with part of the box torn and no hardware. I contacted the seller and they sent out the hardware immediately. They were very pleasant to deal with. I’m about to order 3 more for my upstairs rooms. I would definitely recommend these blinds.

I was looking for light filtering blinds for my sunroom and this style was my goal. I love that they are cordless and was impressed with the look and quality. My only complaint is that they are not as easy or smooth to lift up and pull down. Having a sunroom, I obviously want the natural, unfiltered light as well but it can be a challenge to open them uniformly. They are perfect, however, for filtering light when needed and giving a layer of added privacy.

These blinds are terrific, and easy to install. Did three kitchen windows and will order more for other rooms .

Overall, this is a good deal. The shades are not blackout, but they look good and install easily. The only issue for me is that they length and width are fixed in size, so there is a good chance that you will need to outside mount the shades. The valence does not come with side flaps (which it should or at least they should sell them separately) so the shade does not look great from the sides. Something for the manufacturer to think about.

I replaced old metal blinds in a beach house with these blinds. Simple to install. Quality is much better than expected. I was worried that I might not be able to install 25 myself but it was easy once I got a system down. I ordered the Tuscan color.
