JetBag Bold (3 Pack)

I used these bags for two bottles of wine and a wine glass I purchased on vacation. They are super easy to use and really protected my items. I did wrap some clothing around the bags in my suitcase for some extra padding, but I think everything would have been just fine anyway. Both bottles and the wine glass made it all the way home to the States from Eastern Europe with no breakage at all. Because nothing broke I can't really say how well the bags stop anything from spilling out, but honestly I'm glad I can't give that part of the review. Will be using these again for sure.

Bought these for an international trip and they didn’t disappoint . This is an excellent product to use as it truly takes up nominal space and packs easily into your checked luggage. Easy to use and prevented wine bottles from breaking, can’t ask for more.

Whether you like to buy craft wine or liquor from your travels, or you're planning ahead for a trip and like to show up to a stocked hotel room, these bags are must haves. They easily fit 750ml / 1L liquor bottles, and standard size wines also -- some of the craft bottles that are odd shapes or very long might have trouble fitting. I have flown using these bags twice now, taking 3 glass bottles (filled) in a soft-side suitcase each time, and even though the suitcase was checked luggage, the bottles all survived in perfect condition thanks to the Jet Bags. They are incredibly easy to use, the zip top makes it simple to seal. There is enough room in the bag so that you can fold the tops over and give a little extra protection to the neck if needed. I actually put the bottles in the bag neck first, with the thought that if they did break, the breakage would be directed towards the bottom of the bag where there is diaper material (whereas the material tapers off as it approaches the opening. The only imperfection is the zip enclosure. It is not as secure as I would like, and I personally think that if there were a double zip it would be a stronger closure. During my first trip using the bags, two of the bags were opened when I got to my destination. While it could have been TSA agents or airport guys hoping for a nip (or just not resealing the bags well after inspection, of course), I think it may have been the change in pressure in the cargo hold or rough handling. After my first flight, I've been using a rubber band to keep the top of the bag folded over, in addition to closing the zip. These bags are also great for regular trips to the store, as they provide a ton of padding and stop bottles from rattling against each other.

Great extra item to pack along in case you find a good bottle to bring home. Weighs almost nothing and packs flat, but will genuinely absorb a full bottle if broken. I was flying home a few years ago and a bottle of bourbon got broken in my luggage somehow, but this pack stayed sealed and absorbed about 90% of it. Was able to just throw it away when I got home, no damage to my luggage. These are reusable, and I've probably used the same 3 pack about 15-20 times over the years, still working great. They'll fit a full size Pinot bottle, or a premium cab, odd shaped bourbon and scotch bottles (stuff like High West, Larceny or JW), etc. Doesn't fit short stubby 750ml bottles (Blantons, Old Fitz, etc.) or taller than normal wine bottles. Cheap insurance to protect your luggage. Well worth it. Can also be used for stuff like olive oil, vinegars, etc.

Amazing product! Just like the reviews said. I brought these in my suitcase on a recent trip to Italy. I was able to put my bottles of liquor/wine in them and they were very well protected. I highly recommend these if you are planning to travel with any liquids.

I was overseas and needed a way to bring back some wine and whisky, and ordered these bags to be delivered to my local hotel. I've used the wine diaper product before ( Wine Diaper Reusable Padded Absorbent Bag, Eco-Friendly Travel Accessory, Set of 3 ), and these bags seem to be just as good and less expensive (at this time). The bag is a tough plastic lined with an absorbent lining and a recloseable zipper seal at the top. What I especially like about this product is that it also includes overlapping flaps inside the bag, under the zipper. If any leakage does occur, those will tend to keep it inside the absorbent area and act as a backup to the zipper. A couple of tips: one, I write on them with a Sharpie: "TSA please close the zipper". Second, I find that three bottles fit very snugly inside a medium size Ebags packing cube ( eBags Medium Packing Cubes - 3pc Set ), keeping all the bottles secure and together in my luggage. The packing cube also makes it very easy to wrap them all with an extra towel or foam, and to place separately in the interior part of your luggage. That may be unnecessary but I figure it doesn't hurt! So far, six bottles have made it successfully on flights and I have every expectation that will continue. Cheers!

These are very handy and work great to protect and seal in liquids that might leak. We use it for transporting all sorts of possible leaky/breakables in check-in luggage. VERY handy. Highly recommend!

Great for travelling or even for packing liquids for a spill proof picnic.

Looking forward to using these on our upcoming trip to Portugal. Lets hope I never have to find out if the soak up 750 ml :-)
