Pros:1.) Great Quality Paint - Easy to use and smooth on multiple types of surfaces. Great consistent color. Really feel like paint being drawn out!2.) Long Lasting - Most paint pens like these simply run out of paint/ink or will even lose their consistency. The pens by this new company last incredibly long and the tips don't tear easily and lose pointed shape.3.) Rugged Paint - I used my paint pens for a surfboard project and found that that paint was a good quality of tough once dried. You couldn't rub or smear without really putting some solid effort into it where it would almost be slight bits of the foam deck rubbing off*.Cons:1.) Fumes - Even though the overall quality of the paint in the pens seems very good, the fumes emitted from the pens can be a bit overwhelming. I highly recommend having a fan on and window open if you can't be outdoors while using the pens.Overall: I highly recommend these pens for any of your outdoor art projects that might needs some colorful additions, for all surfboards needing that extra bit of personality, basically anything you want to quickly add a bit of paint to.I actually called the company who sells these to ask a few questions before buying them given their were no previous reviews. I told them that I was making a mermaid board for my niece who actually lives in Sydney and they were pretty excited. They have great soft-top surfboards so when I called, I told them about my plan they gave me an "early-bird holiday special" discount and I ended up buying the surfboard and the paint pens. The pens were amazing (fumey) but just felt good to use. Nicely packaged, sealed, and clean. Once the tip is primed, the pens are ready to start and will last surprisingly long. I took a few photos of the surfboard once the mermaid and her fins were finished before I wrapped it up and shipped it. I sent these photos over to Gold Coast Surfboards and they actually posted them on their Instagram AND Facebook - I just hope my niece doesn't see!!! Great paint! I use it to decorate flower pots that are in the sun and get watered every day.

I love how these markers handle fabric. It does not bleed! And it is easy to cover up mistakes on top of each color. I am very happy with them. I wish it came with more colors. They hold true to whats on the cap. They also do not have an odor like someone else mentioned. I kept the cap on since the tip dries in a few minutes to save some ink. I will give an update on how the color handles when it gets wet. The markers make it easier for designing on fabric. Im so stoked!

Really vibrant colors, especially compared to the Sharpie version that they sell at JoAnn's. We've been playing around with lots of different surfaces (wood slices, rock, reclaimed barn wood) and they have stood up to all.

Pens were ok for price. One, the top pushes in so it wasn't usable. Another, when you shook it to mix the paint...it splattered all over my clothes. And another, when you used it the paint made a big pudddle. So several were a waste and ruined my clothes and projects.

These are a great paint pen option! The colors are beautiful and they write very smoothly! We used these to decorate plates at a birthday party that then were baked to seal the paint in. The colors changed some after baking, but have held up great to semi-regular use. Very pleased with the quality of these for this specific application (haven't yet used them for other projects, but we will!).

I ordered these specifically for an outdoor project. Being waterproof is top priority, and since they are created by a surfboard company for customization, this seemed like the most promising option. Received them today, and I am so impressed with the colors! It took me a few tries to prime the first two markers, but once I got the hang of them they were easy to use. I can't wait to finish my current project and try them on rocks with my kids!

SBBC paint pens work well on all the surfaces I've tried so far (wood & plastic) they are pigmented enough for one coat on these surfaces too. I like the range of colors in the package and they have been great for lettering, drawing and coloring in larger surfaces. I would recommend these pens, especially for the price point, they are a solid purchase and are fun to use :)
