OPTIMUM MEDICAL FFP3 Face Masks with Exhalation Valve (x10) - EN 149:2001 and A1:2009 Compliant, 4 Point Headband with Cushioned Lining for Extra Comfort and Security (Type A - Pack of 10)

Took a while to select these masks. I use a fabric mask with a surgical mask type insert for shopping for example, but I bought these for a plane journey. They are graded FFP3, which is the highest available level of filtration (whether even that is good enough I don't know). The masks have two adjustable straps so can be made to fit snugly, though still not absolutely perfectly. Felt noticeably different from the everyday masks, made breathing a little bit more of an effort. Each mask is meant to be effective for 8 hours.

Comfy when you get the tension right in the straps. I suspect it gives good protection when you fit it right. Great masks but the semi rigid party hat style takes more storage space and can't really be stuffed in pocket or handbag without getting squashed. The two straps need adjusting each time so this also takes a bit more fiddly putting on than a non-adjustable mask. More pros than cons of you want a decent mask to wear for long periods, less so if you're wanting to put in and off all day.

As you can see drom the photos, protect very well.

The nose shape of these masks is fixed in the manufactured shape and not set by the wearer using a malleable metal strip which is common in other masks of this type. Unfortunately, although the rubber seal is better than others and the elastic restraining bands are wide and strong (unlike the thin rubber strip of others') the narrow part at the bridge of the nose is very uncomfortable especially under the pressure of a tight-fitting mask generally. It was really painful after just 5 minutes! I wouldn't buy these again.

It is important to note that these are described as single use dust masks on the box in which they arrived.We have used them as such subsequently and have found them very effective as single use dust masks. We have found the fit around the nose to be better than the type B mask, and we find that our glasses do not steam up too readily. It has seemed important to us not to secure the mask too tightly, as this can actually reduce its effectiveness.

Quick story: I bought these to be safer on public transport as I often do 2 hour train journeys. On the first time using these I was an hour into the journey when I lifted the mask for a swig of water. I was hit by a heady rush of perfume from the lady sat behind. For an hour not even a whiff had made it through the filter.

These masks are of good standard but as with all these types of masks not just these ones they all seemed to have been moulded on a person with a small face.As a result I do find these are very tight around the nose and mouth area.These do have two bands which are adjustable which is very helpful.Overall still very pleased with quality

Well made and comfortable to wear. Have worn one for a 12 hour shift and compared to surgical mask or a FN95 much easier on the ears, but some discomfort on bridge of nose after 8 hours or so, but still better than alternatives. As with most PPE in the age of covid, a bit pricey.

Utilisés pour poncer une carrosserie, ces masques sont très bien. Ils filtrent bien les poussières très fines. Seul petit reproche, ça fait mal sur le nez avec des lunettes de vue. Mais j'en reprendrais si besoin sans problème. J'apprécie beaucoup la doublure pour l’étanchéité et les 2 systèmes de maintien avec réglages pour bien être appliqué au visage.

Compré las mascarillas para limpiar un palomar y para pintura en spray. Es de excelente relación calidad-precio. El diseño es ergonómico, lleva gomas anchas para ajustarla a la cara, además en la zona de la nariz también lleva ajuste, hay que moldearlo bién. Las mascarillas no suelen ser cómodas pero éstas los son, No son rígidas ni muy endebles. Protegen mucho. Muy buena relación calidad-precio.

Me gusta su diseño. Se agarra muy bien por las.gomas que tiene. Las recomiendo

Las compré como protección para hacer unas labores de pintura y su precio está muy bien con respecto a otros proveedores, pero imagino que dependerá del tamaño de la cara de cada uno, porque a mi personalmente no se me quedan bien ajustadas.
