The media could not be loaded.  According to Onvis, “The IMX starlight CMOS sensor presents color in extremely dim light and supreme quality night vision. HDR adds extra vividness in C3”. However, the device I received had a faulty CMOS sensor as there was only vivid noise in low light conditions ( see video ). IR when enabled continually switched on and off and the device was hotter than it ought to be, perhaps due to insufficient ventilation. This cameras doesn't support WPA3 and its' companion app has issues with share button disappearing when trying to download a saved clip. Return and refund process initiated.

I have been using this camera for about 3 weeks (as a security camera for the living room) and am very pleased with it. The camera was easy to set up and is compatible with the Apple HomeKit as described. Video footages were thus automatically saved to my iCloud space. I would say this is the best part of the camera which works pretty much like a remote CCTV monitoring service but FOR FREE. I found the video quality excellent including the clips captured in night vision. The camera has a built-in mic and speaker, so I was able to monitor/communicate with my daughter playing in the living room from my workstation upstairs. Overall, I found the camera top tier.

Easy setup, I don’t like the HomeKit code that is stuck to the stand for all to see and it is not the removable kind of sticker, feels cheap in the hand so if you want great design the ONVIS C3 is not it, for me the picture quality is good for both night and day recording, only detects motion and not occupancy, the SD card records along with HomeKit secure video recording and will record when the wifi is off and is the main reason I purchased it, you can only view the SD recordings by connecting the SD card to a MAC or PC, the ONVIS app is only good for firmware updates, the SD card recording options and changing camera orientation for example you can mount the camera upside down or change the camera view to landscape, portrait or standard, overall a good product and worth the money in my opinion.

I have been using this camera as a baby monitor and so far I'm really impressed!The main reason for using this camera as a baby monitor is the HomeKit integration that makes it easy to keep an eye on the baby on all our apple devices - iPhone, iPad or even Apple TV. I had tried other baby monitors along with it but the wide angle and HD 1080p quality makes this camera one of the best!The wide angle gives you more options for camera placement. This camera also has two way communication which makes it easy to hear the baby. Although the mic volume is a bit low for my preference but I think its probably because its not primarily made to be used as a baby monitor. The camera also detects motion, and using HomeKit automations you can trigger different events. For night time use, the night vision video quality is really amazing and it automatically switches to night vision in low light. I have got the camera hooked on the baby's cot but there are tools to mount it on a wall. You can change the orientation settings in the camera app.Overall, I am really happy with the camera and totally would recommend it!
