This is my second mirror of this type. I had to buy another one because a relative liked the first one so much I gave it away. I only gave it away because I really wanted a white one and it was not available at the time I ordered it. This is the right size to travel with. It is light in weight and I like it a lot. It is easy to open if you remember to open the top part first, then turn it around to open the other part. It is open front to back.

This is the perfect mirror to travel with. It is small so it is easy to pack and the lights around the mirror are great because most hotel rooms have poor lighting. I like that it opens up so it is easy to put on makeup, and then closes into a small, protected case. I also enjoy the magnification on one of the mirrors, as my close-up vision is not what it used to be.I am very happy with my purchase.

I have kept this mirror in my travel bags for years now and used it many times on my journeys and business trips. It's almost perfect for the job, but has one critical flaw: You cannot tighten the hinges. Especially the upper hinge can barely hold the eight of the top mirror and will start drooping when you use it. This one seemingly tiny flaw actually makes the thing extremely frustrating to use, because you need the mirror to be STILL while you're using it!By the way, it works very well with rechargeable batteries. I use Eneloop Pro AAA cells and get decent life out of them, then pop them in the charger for another go. Highly recommended over alkalines, which this will eat and/or the alkalines will leak while it's sitting in your travel bags.

This is a nice small mirror. I wish it were just slightly bigger, but the two different magnifications are nice and the light is pretty bright for only 3 triple A batteries powering it. The light is unfortunately very blue, and my skin looks pretty terrifying in it. This is the case with most LEDs. As other reviewers mentioned, it is slightly confusing to extend all of the way at first. The tab to open it is actually in the back of the mirror, it doesn't snap into place or anything it just lifts up.

A bit bulky for travel but a great mirror for plucking . I just bought a 2nd one for my cottage and actually thought about getting one for a few people for Xmas . They’d probably kill me once they see how much this mirror shows you 😂

The actual mirrors and lighting are great, I only had an issue with the opening of the compact initially. I had to use a butter knife to open the mirrored parts and couldn't open the battery part on the bottom until I realized you had to turn it a quarter turn. Better instructions would be appreciated for future customers but I love the illumination and magnification!Update. 1 star. This mirror fell apart after about 3 months. I used Gorilla tape to hold it together for a bit. All of the wires started to come out, it was a mess. It's been a year now. Stopped working 6 months ago.

I purchased this mirror after trying a simple human $250 10x magnifying lighted mirror and couldnt bring myself to spend that much money on a mirror not to mention how bulky it was and no room for it on my vanity! This was the perfect find! I’m able to store it when Im not tweezing my eyebrows or applying lashes. It small enough to travel with and comes with a little travel pouch!I will say I was hesitant to purchase after reading a few reviews about how dim the light was so when I initially placed batteries in it it was very dim light..as I was about to return it I replaced them thwm with fresh batteries and it was BRIGHT! It’s a keeper!

This is a perfect travel mirror, as I discovered using it on a three week trip to Italy. Both the regular and magnified mirror are clear without distortion. The bright lights are especially helpful in hotel rooms with minimal lighting. The adjustable height and angles makes putting on makeup comfortable and the compact, light weight design makes it easy to pack.I've been so happy with this mirror that I ordered more as gifts.

I use this mirror for taking out my hard contact Scleral lens. Has a good light and the good magnification. Originally bought it for travel, but use it all the time now. Like that it uses 3-AAA instead of a rechargeable system.

very good size for travelling although not superb quality. The slide for holding up the bottom mirror lets go after just a few uses however still usable. great light and very portable

This mirror would be better and probably a lot brighter if it was rechargeable With the light turned on on the mirror I still needed to sit in sunlight to see details properly.
