Sturdy
We used this as a base layer before we put our tent up! Great price for a layer of extra protection for your tent!

Not canvas as described
Does what a tarp should, the round shape and 20ft size is great. But disappointingly thin, and the advertising is misleading as it is a poly tarp and not canvas as described. Will work for something, not what I was hoping for. 3 stars regardless

Does what it is supposed to.
If you spent the money on the tent, you should get this too. It does exactly what a good tarp is supposed to, and compared to the Teton canvas tent, it is practically free.

This footprint is made from very inexpensive material
The info describing this product doesn't say anything about the grade of material, and the picture is too poor to make anything out. It is made out very light duty trap material, and from my own experience using light duty traps as a floor saver for a tent, they don't stand up very long. Also, the stitching on the border is nothing great nor are the reinforcement points on the loops for staking it down. For the money spent on this product, a person can buy a very heavy duty trap that will stand up to much use even on rocky ground although it won't fit exactly--so what, just fold over any portion that sticks out from under the tent, AND the carry bag is like so many other carry bags, it will be a real struggle to fold up the trap small enough and tight enough to ever get it back in the bag.

Great.
Fits as it should and provides an extra layer of protection.

Do NOT order from Amazon
So I have ordered two of these at this point and both times I got the wrong footprint. I ordered the Mesa 14 footprint and the footprint inside the bag measured 10x10 which is the size of the Mesa 10 tent. For the Mesa 14 it should be a 14x10 footprint otherwise you have 4 feet under the tent with no footprint. The package/bag the footprint comes in has a label that says Mesa 10, and then a sticker in placed on that label which says Mesa 14. Perhaps it is meant to be the same bag for both and then just a different tarp goes in the bag and the sticker is added. For me though the tarp was obviously not changed to align with the sticker.**UPDATE**I reached out to Teton Sports directly and they are aware of this issue with product from Amazon.Teton is shipping me the proper footprint free of charge directly from their own warehouse

Wrong size received. No customer service. Avoid.
I ordered the 14’ and got the 10’. I didn’t notice until I was already out camping. The bag it came in had a sticker on it saying 14’ so I didn’t feel the need to unroll it at home to verify the size, all seemed to be in order. Now the 30 day return window is closed and Amazon and Teton Sports are pointing the finger at each other. I see from the recent reviews that I am not the only one with this issue.I would avoid ordering this off Amazon to avoid getting a footprint that only protects 3/4 of your tent. Support from both companies are non existent in my case.If I were do to this again, I would just buy a heavy duty tarp elsewhere for half the cost, as the quality would be about the same. This is nothing special.
