At age 60, the knees just aren't what they used to be! The first time using this product was 4 hours on my hands and knees weeding a VERY overgrown flower bed (like-you could not even see the iris'). These are so cushy, I could not even feel my knees (I am boney). I was and am so amazed! The product has a very high rating but I was skeptical that they would be THAT good. I was wrong, these knee pads exceeded my expectations by far. Now, just as soon as I recover from the chigger bites, I am going after the next flower bed-without knee reservations!

I purchased these primarily for gardening. After a long day of working in the family garden, weeding, planting, trimming, harvesting, my knees were a wreck. I decided that I needed better protection for my knees -- with our rocky soil, wood chips, and the surprise broken branch here and there -- I quickly went to Amazon online and found these. So glad I did. They're perfect for my needs and for my knees. Good protection. Easy to put on and take off. I've used them frequently since they arrived -- and I expect them to last for years, along with my now-protected knees.

best The hard shell holds to my knee whereas other knee pads rotate around my knee while I'm working, leaving my knee bare and needing frequent adjustment on my part. With the hard shell, any moisture from ground or floor is kept away from my jeans as well. Love these. Have purchased a few pair. One to share, one to wear in the house and one for garden and mud. Love 'em... did I say that? I love these!!

I feel like I always have to readjust these knee pads when standing and kneeling - they don't stay in one place very well. After wearing them for more than 20 minutes, they cut off the circulation in the back of my legs and become uncomfortable (I always wear them over jeans). As a reference, I'm 5'9" and 145lb. I'd rather pull around a kneeling pad for garden work than use these.

These "one size fits all" knee pads are too big for me-an average sized woman with average sized-not tiny-legs. The strap that cinches behind the knee is irritating, and the pads slide down. As far as making kneeling on the knees more comfortable, yes, they do the job. But since they are not snug enough, debris and yard stickers get down between the pad and my knees. They are adequate, but far from great.

I had total knee replacement on both knees last year. My surgeon strongly advises against ever kneeling again; however, if I must kneel to use good knee pads. I am an actor and need to kneel briefly on stage in my current role.These work beautifully!I'm female, 5'9", 200 lbs and these fit just fine for short-term use.

These pads protect the knees extremely well, and the straps are perfectly placed. They should be used on a flat surface because the plastic is a bit slippery. Maybe rough them up with sandpaper? Also, I have skinny legs. They fit men, but were a little loose for me.

why did I wait so long could have saved my knees. I am a avid gardener these are a life saver. love them.
