They work good
Bought these to rejuvenate a tired 22yr old truck.Let me start by saying they work great so far..There is considerably less rear end body roll, corner squatting,, swaying. Even a bit less axle wrap..They are a bit stiff,, but smooth out the bumps and uneven ground a whole lot better now,, even with a load..I gained about a 1.25 inch lift with an empty bed when I installed these...After Adding a fiberglass Canopy and around 500lbs of additional gear,, I still had about 1 inch of that additional lift..Depending on how long they last,, I would buy them again..

Good quality
The quality is good I just don't like that over time the springs start to sound. But when the truck is loaded the ride is great.

Work great in my 2005 Ford Ranger. Happy
Installed these Monroe 58618 shocks after I installed a Fabtech FTS202 2” add a leaf. The Fabtech didn’t get the lift I wanted. Now with my shell and rack it’s about 2 inches over stock hight. Kinda a pain to install. Needed to Jack the frame till it lifted the tires off the ground then use a second bottle Jack and pry bar to compress the shock til I could push in the lower bolt through. Took a couple hour. Feels more stiff in the rear. That’s a plus. With about 500lbs of tools and it’s perfect. 2005 Ranger xlt 3.0L

Excellent Upgrade
Very satisfied with these shocks. The install was fairly difficult on my sons 93 Ranger due to the rigidity of the spring tension. We ended up using two jacks to lift the truck frame up so that we had less compression distance and used a small floor jack to tension shock springs up the last 5” or so. Definitely worth the effort.

Great upgrade to OEM shocks
These shock absorbers seem well constructed and just beefy enough for the little extra load capacity my Ranger needed. Easy installation if you lower the rear differential by jacking on the frame. Otherwise compressing the shock requires more work as they are stiff. Love the ride and more stable rear end.

Work but check them both before you start
Well don’t you hate when you get half a job done and realize the other half is mangled not sure how that bushing got squished in the first place but after a bunch of time got that opened and installed. Got and extra 1.5 inches in body height

They are awesome
Just put them on my 2006 for days ranger sport 4x4, they look awesome took two people to compress them and a lot of force. They gave the rear a noticeable raise. The shocks that came out could be compressed with just me leaning on it. These took my whole body weight to compress which I thought was awesome. I’m going to test them with hauling, but I know that they will do great I would recommend these to anyone who wants a lift without going to putting blocks or a extra leaf in the rear.
