Cambridge IGCSE First Language English Teacher's Resource (Cambridge International IGCSE)

I agree with the previous reviewer. It's an excellent resource, but very expensive for what it is. Also, I was hoping that the on-line link would have e-copies of the articles and worksheets in the book, so that I could print out clean and clear copies for my students. No such luck. The resources have to be copied, then cut (to get rid of the spiral binding in the margin), then recopied. In fact, the on-line resources are not very useful at all - and it is quite difficult to work out which on-line resources relate to which parts of the book.I would expect a CD-Rom with the whole book on for this price - it's fairly standard for teaching books these days. So am giving this four stars, because I think the resources and lesson plans are good; it can be used without much adaptation; it will save me lots of time - but it's not quite there.

This is an excellent resource which gives teachers a great selection of lesson plans and ideas. Each aspect of the exam is dealt with and it has saved me a great deal of time researching and planning. It would also be very useful for home educated children, or independent students to work through alone in preparation for the exam. I don't regret buying it. However, for what it is, a large, ring bound, paperback book, the price is exorbitant! I rather feel that this resource should be available via the Cambridge website.
