Funny story
This was a used book but I wouldn’t be able to tell. Great condition. Cute story that I’m going to read to my lower elementary kids in library at the beginning of the year to show them how to take care of their books.

My 5 year old grandson really likes this book. I bought 2 and asked him to choose one to keep and one to give away for a birthday present. He had a really hard time and finally gave this one away because he liked it so much he wanted to give it as a gift! Of course I bought a 2nd copy.

Good Read.
My son enjoyed reading this book and thought it was nice of Spencer to let the animals borrow his books. It was a nice way to share.

My Books
Gift to a great-grandson who loves to get books. He found it funny and decided to keep an eye on his books. His sister is not yet two, but he's protecting ,'his' books, although he likes to 'read' them to her. As he's not quite 4, this involves a lot of picture showing, and his talking.

It will make you smile ; )
A very enjoyable tale, that takes place in the woods and a village, but includes characters that use today's technology. It is full of humorous details and is easy to read. It is a joyful and creative alternative to the traditional Little Red Riding Hood.

Way Too Cute!
When a book features squirrels, I’m going to love it. Debbie’s adorably illustrated book tells the story of Spencer and his missing books—and the mysterious thief! Your kids will love this bedtime story.

Cute story that reinforces love of reading
Very cute and suspenseful! Kids at storytime loved the surprise about "where" the books went to! Will become a staple for storytime and suggestions for parents!

A brilliant book promoting the love of reading and books.
This is a brilliant book. It promotes the love of reading, and has so many opportunities for kids to think and predict about what might happen....or how the story might go. And, as always, Debbie Ridpath Ohi's illustrations are warm and loving - you can't help but smile as you get to know the characters. My kids at school, from K - Grade 6, love this book ( and so do I). A must have for every bookshelf!
