I haven't hooked up the bluetooth remote yet so instead I just set my phone on timer mode to take this family photo as well as the selfie. The brightness is adjustable and so is the warmth and coolness of the lighting. The whole system is suprisingly light weight yet fully supports my samsung note 9. Only thing I wish the phone clamp had is a better system for opening the phone holder to its widest width. My car windsheild mount has these two buttons parallel to each other that when pressed cause the holder clamp to open easily.

This ring light is the best investment and comes with so many great features. I love howthe height is adjustable which is ideal for either shoulder up to full body length photos. Besides the height, the light is customizable too,you can easily change the brightness and colors (warm light to white light) with a push of the buttons. The bluetooth connectable remote also comes in handy. I love the quality and material of the product, it is very sturdy.

Light weight so I can pick up the whole unit and move it around with one hand. The ring diffuses the light evenly so there are no shadows and the brightness adjustment helps keep colors from washing out because the light is too bright. The legs are adjustable for the perfect height, the light can be adjusted to any position, and it comes with a Bluetooth remote shutter. Now I can take pictures up to 30 feet away! Exactly what I was looking for, I would definitely buy it again.

Secured in molded box, tripped comes with draw string bag for storage/carrying.All pieces wrapped in protective plastic.Set up was easy.The remote control linked immediately with my iPhone 12 pro max. And was pleasantly surprised that the response time for remote control to camera is very quick! That made me happy as some there is a defined lag in response time.It comes with two phone holders to position on the tripods depending on your need. Both holders are very sturdy and held my phone - I’m not at all concerned of them not being secure.The light is great! I need to play with the settings to see what is going to be my favorite but there are 3 hues with 10 brightness levels on each! This is great! The light is large and casts plenty of light to make great picture- I played with it and even at a distance seemed to have plenty of illumination! The light also has great angles to cast downwar, tilted or facing front. I like this feature as we do a lot of product reviews and many times need that downward lighting!The on/off/light mode is on a cord attached to light. I would like it even better if it was fully remote however it is not an inconvenience at all. Just a preference.I’m very happy with my purchase and so glad I opted for this one! Cost is good. Product is great. Seller/shipping is great as well- actually came a day early during holiday season!The photo I took one (upper left) with room lighting. The upper right and two bottom pictures are on the 3 different light modes (please excuse my end of the 12hr shift look! Lol) the lights enable better facial recognition and I do love the difference it makes!!

The ring light is exactly what I was expecting, nothing special here, that's not a bad thing. It attaches to the standard tripod mount screw. Controls are simple and intuitive, just keep in mind you need a USB power source, I plugged it into a portable battery pack so I'm not tethered.The tripod actually exceeded my expectations. I like to take a tripod on my bike rides so I can hyperlapse my park yoga sessions. This one shrinks down a lot smaller than I expected so it lives on my bike now, and my other, larger one will remain at home with the ring light.The included phone mounts are different. One will only attach to the ring light, not directly to a tripod, and the other has a clip that can clamp down on any small diameter pipe, meant to go on the neck of the tripod but I may try it out on my bicycle handlebars and see how it feels. Right now I have them both on a tripod with the ring light, one holds my phone and the other holds a battery pack to power the light.

First, the (small) down side: I'm not a big fan of the included tripod. That's my biggest single complaint. I have tripods aplenty. It definitely isn't the end of the world and I'm pretty sure that someone using it on a desk would be fine with it. The light itself is incredibly light weight and I've been able to adapt it on to something I'm more comfortable having on a set.Personally, I wound up sticking it on a clamp-style flexible arm that I could throw on a C stand, tripod or even counter top. This light is USB powered, and I ran it off a 25,000mAh power bank for three solid hours without issue. The real utility here is how easily I can reposition this particular light. I can readily use it outdoors, which isn't something I'd care to try with most of my studio lighting!Second, equally minor complaint: Most of the studio lights I have come with some kind of bag to carry around. This guy comes in a large cardboard box. I'm not entirely sure if I can toss the ring itself in with other things I carry.This light is bright enough for portrait and candid video. The three color temperature options fit my most common needs. I imagine that this will be a go-to for my camera kit for a good long while.
