Highly Recommended! Does just what it should!
I posted this just so others looking at this pedal would have at least one review to go by. With the Black Friday deal and the additional coupon, I got it for $25. Great deal! The pedal works exactly as it should - meaning it creates automatic volume swells similar to the Boss Slow Gear (long out of productions and now big $$$ to get vintage ones) and the Behringer SM200 (a copy of the Boss pedal, also out of production, and will run you $70 and up on ebay and similar sites). I first ran this pedal by itself into an amp. Very clean sounding, no bad noise, the swells are nice and smooth. I then put it in a chain in front of a boss digital delay, a Behringer Ultra Vibrato, and through the Hall Reverb of my Behringer mixer. The result was amazing violin/pad/clean synth type sounds. If you are looking to experiment with a volume swell pedal, I highly recommend this one, especially for the price. However, keep in mind that these pedals are much more useful when used with other pedals.

Nice analog delay with modulated repeats. Very small!
The media could not be loaded. Â Nice and small analog delay with a switch for standard repeats and modulated repeats. Modulated repeats sound very nice. Delay is crisp and clean. Very small pedal great for crowded boards. Only criticism is how well the small knobs might hold up to gigging. Fantastic for home and studio use.

Great Effect for a Bargain Price
I have always like the Boss Slow Gear, but the collectible prices are not what a want to spend for such a specialized effect. I was watching the Mooer Slow Engine, but prices have gone up on those too. I decided to take the chance and buy this thing. My concern was that it was going to perform like a $30 pedal. Well, I was wrong. This thing is quiet, and does the slow gear type volume swells very well. It's the perfect addition to my ethereal effects chain, without breaking the bank. How this holds up remains to be seen. The housing is sturdy, but I would say the footswitch is cheaper than the boutique brands. I could see that failing with someone who gigs heavily- but it's $30! Replace it if it goes out. I own a lot of boutique guitars, amps, and pedals- so I can honestly say this pedal does not suck and was a pleasant suprise. I would not be surprised this is just a rebranded version of more expensive versions on Amazon.

Small and affordable, but quality!
This pedal has a very nice look to it, and it arrives in a black box with silver lettering and a magnetic flap. I felt like the company was proud of this very tiny pedal. This is my second reverb. My other one is also on the affordable end, but the other is stereo and with a hall setting rather than a shimmer. This Ocean Verb is a cool pedal, but it stays in its lane. Itâs versatile in the sense that it can get weird, or be fairly transparent. I use my pedals for different things. For my other stereo verb I use that in synth, where I want to humanize the sound but also make it wider. For this Ocean Verb I use it on a monophonic analog drum machine. So, I soften the edge of the drums by turning the tone knob all the way down, and usually I have the other two knobs at around 1/4-1/2. But, itâs nice to know it has another extreme that can transform my drum machine into a series of non-percussive pulse-like tones. The extreme end of the shimmer is interesting on sequenced or arpeggiated bass synth. The spring setting is not drastically different than the room setting, but shimmer has a modulation to it that is different than the other two. The room setting does a pretty good job of establishing an imaginary space. The spring setting doesnât feel spring-like to me, but I like how it softens the edge of the tone; this is what I bought this pedal to do. Shimmer is best reserved for times when you might want a less natural and more extreme or alien type sound.Iâm going to change the knob, to make it stand taller, but overall I feel really good about this purchase! Just expect a reverb that is sort of canned with a bit of a ring to it.This is not a verb for ambience but more of a canned kind of verb that just makes the tone ring a bit more in a few ways.UPDATE: After spending some time with this pedal, it's obvious to me now that it is adding unwanted noise to my rig. I use all gold tip cables and one of those multi-power devices, plus a particular power strip, all in the service of reducing the undesirable frequencies. I ended up setting this up through the effects loop on my DOD Rubberneck, where it is more manageable, but the great price tag has come at the expense of quality in the manufacturing and/or parts. I have to drop my rating to two stars, because I now see this as a bare-minimum type of reverb with problems.

It was promising
I really wanted to love this looper. It was solid built. I wasnât sure about the size, but I love how small and compact it was. I got it during the Black Friday so I got a good deal (it was hard to return them, I bought 2 units).I had a mixed of problems between shipping, failed unit/parts and real device issues.Problems or reasons to give it 3 stars:1) changed quality of sound (no true by pass I guess), this is the main issue.2) one unit, the volume knob went from 0 to 100 just when turned 99%3) One unit was âopen boxâ and was missing the SD/microSD card4) the one that included the SD/microSD card, didnât read it at any laptopAs per the functioning of the units, it was good and easy to record, stop, overdue, undo, etc. But it affected too much the quality of the sound (original and when playing over the recorded loop)I tried it with a simple connection (guitar-loop-amp) and using it in line with a pedal board. Both cases the sound wasnât good.
