Timely to put hay flakes in
I've used hay nets for 30 years with easier & faster ways to put flakes into them. Unfortunately hay nets don't last forever so I bought this net. It takes more time stuffing it because it keeps trying to close the opening while you stuff it. To put a whole flake in works better with a partner holding it open!

Holes are perfect size, but there is no easy way to put in the flakes of hay.
As mentioned, the holes are the perfect size for slow feeding, and I love that, however; there is no easy way to get a flake of hay into these bags. Think of the age-old adage, "you can't fit a square peg into a round hole"! It really takes two people to fill it. One to try and hold it open wide enough while another tries to put the flake in.

Slow ‘em Down!
I got this for our bored horse who was needing to be stalled. She would eat her hay from a regular hay bag so fast that she would be bored and get herself in trouble. This one will easily hold 2 flakes of hay and slowed her down considerably. Holds up well and the color is great. I’m sure I’ll be buying another one soon!

Hangs bale of alfalfa hay great
Application:I have 10 pygmy goats and wanted to find an easy way for them get the Hay they need without having too much intervention. I initially built a feeding stand out of hog paneling that held the hay for them but they were going through it so fast and I had to keep filling it everyday as they would waste a ton on the ground.Pros:- dummy proof, drop the bale of hay into feeder, then cut the bale stringers-sturdy so farCons:- none so far (2 months of use) other than requiring the upper body strength to hang the feederConclusion:My goats used to go through a small bale of hay in 10 days or so. Now it lasts 2-3 weeks without as much loss. I don't have to put out the hay on a daily basis saving me time.

Great quality
I have purchased the name brand hay bags and the quality was no where near as nice as these. I will definitely be purchasing more.

Good size to start horses on slow feeding
I like the net fits 2 big flakes. Horses seem to like the bigger hole size as a good start to slow feeding. Not thrilled about the rope tie but it can be replaced in the future

great haynet
I have two of these and use them everyday. They seem to be standing up and I love how big they are. They hold a little moe than half a bale. I do think the hole size is about 3 inches and not two but it works for my horses.

Great hay bags.
These hold up really well. Our horses are quite hard on them and we use them multiple times daily. No holes yet!
