Great value
Originally, I had a coated glass bed from creality, but this changed my life. Adhesion is great, but have in mind, I mainly print in PETG. Having the ability to take the surface off and just flex your parts off the surface is amazing. And not needing a scraper to take my parts off, the durability of the product goes thru the roof. Oh, and the steel plate even after hundreds of part removals is still straight as an arrow

One of the 3 essential "mods" that your Ender 3 V2 will need
When you buy an Ender 3 V2, you get your hands on a machine which is not perfect but has lot of potential and a great community behind it. The learning curve will be steep and many elements will act against your printing success.Unfortunately, especially if you are a novice to the art of 3D printing, as soon as you will start to work with "non standard" materials (i.e. anything other than plain PLA) you will hit the wall of frustration. Models will not adhere and your first layers will be messed up, just to say the least. This is why a PEI plate is essential (for your mental sanity) and it is the number 2 on my list of must-have modifications. This list includes:1. an all-metal extruder to replace the embarrassing stock part2. this PEI plate3. a bed levelling deviceBear in mind that all these items are optional. You will be able to continue printing eventually, but you will waste an enormous amount of time and filament.A PEI plate will help you minimising the variables of sub-standard adhesion, especially when you are using non PLA filament or special PLA (e.g. wood, carbon fiber, etc.). Provided you select the appropriate temperature, any material will stick to it. Even more so if you apply a moderate amount of glue and you keep it clean by using isopropyl alcohol. The secondary benefit is that the plate can be flexed to the point of allowing your model to just pop of its surface. This will prevent them from getting damaged, if you are trying to remove them in some other way.Thirdly, the PEI plate is magnetic and can be easily removed by simply lifting it of your machine. No more silly clamps.Fourthly, I think that the heat distribution and thermic efficiency (I apologise to the engineers reading, I might have just made up a term) is simply better than other materials. You may be able to use lower bed temperatures. I have observed and tested that with a PEI plate I can decrease the temperature of 5 to 10 degrees without affecting the adhesion. All in all, I would recommend this specific product. You may think that it is on the expensive side for what it is, but investing £20-30 to minimise adhesion issues is absolutely key.

Good adhesion but at high temps I still got tiny bubbles under the surface.
In general the sheet works incredibly well, good adhesion etc. I've been printing a lot of abs of late which can be a really pain as far adhesion goes if you don't use abs slurry but with this there's no need. However, at the kind of temps that are required for standard abs I still got bubbling under the pei sheet. These bubbles have not effected print quality etc and so I chose not to return it.

Excellent first impressions!
I purchased this for an Ender 5, to replace a Creaity glass bed with which I’d been having ongoing warping issues. No amount of levelling, painters tape, or other methods would prevent it.I decided to try PEI but was initially put off by some of the installation tutorials that required removal of old beds, scraping of glue etc. This kit though was a breeze to install - the PEI is pre-fixed to the metal plate, and since the Ender 5 bed is already magnetic it was a simple case of removing the glass bed and replacing with the PEI sheet. The kit ships with a magnetic bed plate, but I didn’t need to use it.I was initially really disappointed because the adhesion was almost zero. Then I realised I had the plate upside down! After flipping it the right way up, adhesion was immediate and 100% consistent - I’ve never had performance like that on any other bed, with or without glues, tapes or sprays. Maybe the plate needs a “No! Other way up!” printed on the steel side :-)In the image attached, previous prints of this model on other beds would see the front right corner consistently warping and lifting. With the PEI bed - rock solid with zero movement, zero warping. Removal of the print was also easy since the plate can be removed and flexed to pop the print off. With performance this good, I don’t understand why printers don’t ship as standard with a bed like this. Highly recommend!

Great product, a must have for easy print removal
Bought this to use with a twotrees sapphire pro, my first 3D printer and am amazed with the ease of removal of prints and the reliability of 1st layer adhesion.Once I had the initial bed levelling process dialled in I have only had 1 print fail due to it breaking free of the print bed, however I'm certain that this was my fault with my choice of orientation when I sliced the model. Other than that my first layers are reliable and adhere perfectlyThe surface itself is transparent, smooth and not sticky in anyway and when handling the plate from the front facing tabs you can lift the bed without leaving oily fingerprints on the surface, if you do touch the surface fingerprints or other contaminations are easy to see and a wipe over with a little bit of isopropyl alcohol is all that is needed to clean them away and be ready to print on toOnly used the printer with PLA at the moment but with temps of 60c on the bed and 200c from the nozzle the magnetic sheet has remained strong and consistent, once I have tried printing other materials with higher bed temps I will update if there are any demagnetisation issues but so far everything is spot on!
