What’s The difference between series 7, series 8 and series 9?

Not much. The 8 and 9 have a few extra cleaning modes like extra sensitive. The 9's travel case comes with a charging adapter and will let you charge the toothbrush when in the case and the adapter is plugged in (just like the Genius X line previously). So you don't have to bring the magnetic base with you while traveling. The 8 and 9 also have color LED screens while the 7 is black and white. Some also come with more additional toothbrushes. There is also some type of extra AI 3D mapping only on the 9 but I never use the app really, so couldn't tell you much about that.

Other than that it's the same.

Question 2

Is the brush head large? Compared to Oralb non-sonic models this brush head here looks large. This is a problem for people with all their wisdom teeth

Hi. Our Oral-B iO™ series brush heads are a different shape than our other Oral-B Brushes. The iO™ Ultimate Clean brush head was specially designed to effectively reach and gently clean all areas.  It uses Oral-B's iconic crisscross arrangement, including longer bristles surrounded by shorter ones and is very dense.  Bristles are regular (5mil). Then the iO™ Gentle Care has been optimized for gentle contact and cushioned cleaning, with a highly dense arrangement of up to 4000 filaments - in a sophisticated overlay of concave and convex bristle trim patterns, that gently adapt to the curvature of the tooth and gum line.  The outer bristle field contains gentle 4.5mil bristles - the smallest diameter bristle used in our power toothbrush refills.  We hope that helps. It doesn't spin. Rather, it vibrates in all directions. You don't want it to rotate because it would be too harsh on your gums.
