BUY it! (Then make sure you follow the directions)
Works great! Never going to wash my glasses again...I tell EVERYONE about this product. IMPORTANT: Follow the directions. That's key. Also, the more you use it, the more fog protection you have. Just don't wash your glasses with cleaner or water, and it will keep layering protection. It dries completely clear and as long as directions are followed there aren't any streaks or anything. After four applications, I can drink hot coffee outside in the cold with no fog. Wearing a mask with glasses is now a non-issue. I imagine it would work great on the inside of swim goggles, or on face shields, safety Eyewear etc. I'm about to try it on my makeup mirror in the bathroom. I'll let you know how it goes.*edit - there is SO much moisture in my unventilated bathroom that it didn't stand a chance. I was silly to think that anything could work on that. It does make the fog go away faster though, so YAY!I did not receive free product or payment for this review.

The best antifog paste, gel or spray I tried
This is the easiest to apply, easiest to clean off,, and second-best at preventing fog of all 8 amazon products I tried. Only HIlco seemed to work better, but just the first few times: Hilco leader gel seems to work better first on brand new lenses, but then the application is very difficult after the first applications and it no longer works well, odd I know - maybe it ruins the lenses. For high moisture conditions, like goggles etc this is only performing well for a short period, needing reapplication after that. Bolle safety glasses called Rush Clear, Cobra Clear etc have this Platinum antifog that lasts longer, weeks even, as long as you don't wipe it out with microfiber, alcohol, soap, and only clean it with water rinse when dry. If you want to get antifog gel on some wrap around safety glass, this is not going to work, very well, due to the need to reapply often in high moisture situations, but for most people it will be perfect since the moisture I deal with is way higher than most people will encounter. So try this and see if it works for you. Paste always works better than spray or liquids, if the same product, since it adheres better. For low moisture situations, this would definitely be a 5 star, but anyway. It's eons ahead of the sprays on amazon. It does create streaks and needs reapplication in high moisture, so don't expect miracles. It just has mostly water and optical soap, so it seems pretty safe, they said it's fine for swim goggles, etc, but no MSDS on their website exists. Other companies have vague MSDS too, listing only soap, water and maybe alcohol 400 ppm. With that being said, I don't plan to buy it again, since reapplying it every 2 hours is not a good idea and it's very time-consuming. Also, it's fogging more than Bolle, if used on a sealed safety glass pair, or sealed safety goggle, etc. But again, for lower moisture and humidity, it will probably last 2 days before you need reapply. :) EKUSA, another company from Utah, also makes a similar product with mostly soap and water, glycerin in it), but EKUSA seems even worse than z-clear, the 'cat crap' or 'snoop dope' products. The sprays are worse than the paste and gel type in general.Well, I hope this helps, let me know if you do find something better. :)

It might take time for this product to work.
I used this product on my glasses. The instructions stated it could take a few times before the anti fog works on lens. I used it twice so far and it still didn't work. It cleaned the lens nicely. I still have hope for the anti fog to work. If you want it to work the first time, you might be disappointed.

Got a fail from Zclear when fogging mattered most.
I'm not really sure how Z-Clear anti-fog paste works so well for some people and I honestly wonder about their truthfulness considering that this is ineffective at accomplishing the simple task of fending off fog from both my glasses and my boyfriend's. I'm glad I wasn't in the horrible situation that another reviewer Brian K. was in , while he was fighting to save people's lives in the ER during the height of the Covid Pandemic. I was just trying to drive my car and stay safe while following mask health recommendations with vulnerable people who needed transportation. This was completely useless for keeping my glasses fog free. My Boyfriend has over a decade of experience in the military using fog paste on rifle scopes and surveillance lenses and advised me that I might have to repeat application a few times in order to create the anti-fog barrier. The paste is supposed to coat lenses with a very thin film that can easily rub off even if you try to carefully apply it. Practice was his advise. So I did, he did and after a few days we both decided that this wasn't a good product . Plus while I was driving and my glasses being fogged it was extremely difficult to be safe. We went back to the dish soap method, it worked at least to lessen the fogging. So my experience as well as the dozens of other's before and after my review that weren't able to keep fog from forming on their glasses will hopefully be taken into account before you end up in a situation where you absolutely need to have clear vision.

Try It, You'll Like it! Only A+s here.
All you do is rub some on your finger and rub it into the both sides of the lens until its dry. Then wipe it off with a cloth. Was really pleased with the results, actually did help minimize tiny scratches (did not get rid of them). Seeming to be very clear, even clearer than after a spray clean. Fogging is a mystery. While wearing a N95 mask, they still fogged. It does last longer than a spray clean and intermediate wipes clean the lens faster than a spray.

It works!
Just arrived today. My glasses are in bad shape with a lot of scratches. Plastic lenses with an anti scratch treatment when made.First treatment and I am amazed. It’s like looking through new glasses. No idea how often I will need to retreat, but so far I am very pleased.
