Great quality!

This is my second bass #126. I bought my first one 5 years ago and it was made better. This new one has a bamboo base with screws in the handle which doesnt hold the bristles in very well. I've never seen a bristle brush with screws! The bristles are constantly falling out (at least 2 a day). If you buy this brush you will be picking them up from the floor daily. I have wavy thin-ish hair and the new brush does not get through to my scalp. The photos show my old bass #126 brush (left) compared to the new brush. Both clearly marked Bass 126. They are totally two different brushes.

I use this when I do a ponytail for my daughter. Brush part is not too deep or shallow. Just right. I like it.

got this for my father in law. He loves this. For some reason this is the only brush he will use (and has been using for the last 100 years). Glad I found a replacement here on amazon

This brush is supposed to massage and stimulate the scalp while brushing. It doesn't even get through to the scalp! The bristles are not stiff enough and the brush is totally useless. It looks very nice, and I hoped that the cheap price wouldn't affect the quality, but in this case it really does. My very old brush does a much better job than this one does. This was a total waste of money.

This is an awesome brush. it has firm but not harsh or too soft bristles of wild boar. I have hair past my shoulder blades, it is easy to get the tangles out with out hurting my head. It doesn't produce frizz or static while brushing. I highly recommend this brush to anyone with long hair that knows the trauma of brushing long hair. it may be a tiny bit costly but well worth the money. love the bamboo handle and how light the brush is to handle.
