This divot tool is great. By closing it up you are not open to injury and no holes in the pocket when sitting in the cart. The ball marker that is attached is also very handy.

I purchased this item in May for an end of June birthday. The gift was taken out of the package just recently and it won't open at all. It seems to be broken. Unfortunate for the recipient and for me. It appears it can't be reurned or exchanged because it's a few days after the return deadline. I would have checked to see if it worked right away, except it is on a blisyet wrapped package. I didn't want to destroy her gift.

I felt it was a little cheap. It was overpriced. It was not brushed aluminum as I thought it would be.

This design encourages improper ball repair -- improperly pulling up from the center of the ball mark vs the proper way which is pushing surrounding turf back into the mark, Consequently, I see too many small little dead spots where the grass roots were torn and killed while pulling up from the center. This device can be used to properly push the turf back into the mark, but its long tongs have a tendency to grab onto underlying roots and tear them. I suppose this is better than nothing but there are better choices. I had a couple of these but no longer use them except for the ball marker (which seems to fall off regardless) and to clean my shoes. Get the Spider Divot Tool and learn how to properly fix a mark. You will discover the healing time of the green will be greatly reduced. P.S. I don't have any financial interest in either of these repair tools. I just enjoy golf but dont like the dead spots on the green created by improper ball mark repair.

Nice little tool with the ball marker and works well except the spring is to light on the trigger button. It was open every time I reached into my pocket for it. On the bright side I never got stabbed! I do like it I just wish it would stay closed until I need it.

Love this little divot tool - it works well and is easy to use.The spring pressure is good, the ball marker can be slid in and out of place with one finger and it almost never opens in your pocket (but it can).

I love this device. Since it folds up, the prongs don't stick me in the leg when I squat to look at my putting line, plus it keeps the ball marker in one place and it is easily retrieved every time that I need it.

Terrible design , the slot for ball markers is too small to carry alternative ball markers - just a simple fix makes this device great , until then , you should pass !
