So far so good, it is easy use in my tank

This is not the gluconate complex as the description claims.I ordered this expecting it to be strontium gluconate, but the package received lists ingredients as only strontium chloride. I wanted the gluconate form for several reasons: it's readily taken up by corals and coralline algae, it provides an organic source of energy for beneficial bacteria, and it doesn't contain excess chloride to throw off the ionic balance of my system. I know, I know. I've heard it before.... excess organics fuel nuisance algae blooms.. blah blah... My system has a very low organic load and actually benefits from this minute increase by feeding the denitrifying bacteria. Now I have to contend with the excess chloride this will introduce as well through additional testing and tweaking/increased water changes.One benefit, however, is that the strontium chloride provides nearly 3x more strontium by weight than does the strontium gluconate. But this also means that I have to adjust my dosage accordingly, or risk overdosing strontium if use the same dosage I had with the old gluconate product.Overall, not a bad product, just not what was ordered. Amazon's inaccuracy is the reason for dropping a star, otherwise, I've always been happy with SeaChem.

Work well used it in my 220 gallon reef tank and the coral love it
