My son recently became obsessed with the Rescue Bots TV show, and began to ask for some toys. After some while, I found these toys catered towards his age range.It didn't take time long to learn how to transform it back and forth, and he has had hours of fun with it already.

My Son has started taking a liking to Transformers Rescue Bots, and Rescue Bots Academy. After watching a few episodes and seeing the toys, he is now starting to collect them. Enter Optimus Prime. He is now my son’s favourite character alongside Bumblebee.This toy is well made, with seemingly good quality plastic. Cheap plastic has that look like it can snap or bend easily, but this plastic looks tough and could probably take a bit of a beating if played with, not something I encourage with my son though!The toy transforms from the classic Optimus red and blue truck into a standing Autobot form. The transform technique and motion of the toy is very easy to do, ideal for the younger age rangle advised on the box. The transformers for older children for example have lots of moving parts, on each limb, the torso and head, which each need to be moved manually. With this toy it moves one way in and one way out, meaning it is a lot easier and less complex to do.The wheels on the truck aren’t the best. They are slightly loose, and don’t rotate as well as thicker wheels on toy cars or ones that are rubber.The biggest pro to these toys is that they are easier for younger children to use and play with. The biggest negative is the price. These are much more expensive to the flip-change Earthspark Transformers toys, but those are designed for older children.In summary, it is a slightly pricey toy, and although there are some very slightly disappointing details on it like the wheels when in truck mode, the toy overall is very well made and sturdy. It is easier for younger children to use and easily transform.Autobots, roll out!
