I'm not sure the batteries run quite as long, but that's a minor issue as you now have at least two. This purchase has extended the life of my rather good (but old) Canon d400.Another tip for older cameras that have a compact flash card bay and that is to get a CF card converter that holds a micro SD card as these are much cheaper and have bigger capacities than the original native CF storage cards. The new camera battery durability is truly woeful, so keep that in mind before you blow big bucks on the new crop of mirrorless, gazillion pixel cameras.
