Very pleased. Came with tools and looks great.
I got the natural instead of white frost. Very pleased. I read the reviews for installation tips and installation was a breeze. Love that inside the roll they provide you with a utility knife, cloth, and ruler. I used the knife and ruler together to press on the edges while I trimmed. My number one goal was privacy for our new breakfast nook. Next goal was to cover up our view of our neighbors who treat their backyard as a junkyard. We also have a 100 yr old house and this converted back porch has old windows with moisture stains between the panes and I was hoping to hide that as well. First two goals were met and from a few feet away it does a great job hiding the stains although I can still see them if I look closely. See pics. Overall, I'm super pleased with the result and this product! Best price out there, too.

Definitely creates privacy while letting in sunlight
These do what they claim to- they create privacy and let in sunlight, I assume blocking uv rays. They are a bit tricky to install, you have to clean the windows really well- no grease- I wiped mine down with the included microfiber and some rubbing alcohol and it worked fine. Then take a spray bottle and douse that window edge to edge with water before installing. The less water there is, the more bubbles you get. It is also easy to lose water if you reposition the film a lot which is kind of inevitable in the process. I found that my windows were not perfectly square- I rent, so measuring and being precise with my cut film and then taking it to my imperfect window was not the best course of action. The best thing for me was to cut it slightly larger on one side, take the protective film off, spray the window and stick it on registering it to one corner and smoothing out all the air bubbles. Then on the edge that overlaps the window frame taking my smoothing tool aka old credit card and using it to hold my utility knife against the window frame as I cut the edge off. It worked for me, but I think if you are not already steady handed with a box cutter it might be more difficult. I have had to peel back, spray and smooth some of the film around the edges since installing it last week, but again it does what I need it for so I am relatively pleased.

It works-ish
Got this film to cover a glass door and window in my laundry room that is easily viewed by the neighbors. (Ugh.) After 'installing' the film, I'd say it definitely does the job. Which I am pretty happy about. It just doesn't look too great. The small window was easy to cover, but the door was a pain. The directions say to cut the piece larger than the actual item being covered then cut down. I did this. Problem with that is this film clings right to the surface of your item and then is impossible to move around. So after finally aligning the one side I know is cut straight (they should really REALLY put a grid on the film backing that you remove prior to installation), I trimmed this down. It's a bit of a hot mess on one side and no matter how many times I readjusted. Just plan ahead and you'll get something that looks pretty great from a bit of a distance.

Wonderful solution
This worked great. We have a good size window in our master bathroom but always had to have the blinds closed because our neighbours window looks down into ours. With this product it allows the light to come in but gives us privacy. I was worried it would look tacky but you can’t tell it’s a window film at all. It looks just as if it is a frosted window. It was fairly easy to install. Make sure the window is wet when applying and use a good squeegee.

Great Product, Works as Advertised, Very Happy With It
The film looks very nice on our garage window. It is easy to cut and to stick to the window and lets in plenty of light without allowing passers by to see everything in our garage. We were looking for a simple film to do just that. Most of the film we looked at was too short, so we would have to buy multiple rolls, each at a higher price than the DuoFire film. In addition, the other films we found all used adhesive, so if we ever wanted to remove the film it would be a hassle. Overall, we are very happy with this product. One word of advice: follow the directions. On the first window pane I tried to line up two factory edges; because of this, there is a small gap between the film and the edge of the window at the top. However, if you overlap all the edges as the directions say, it is very easy to cut the film and it goes on much more smoothly.

Easy to install, looks great!
This was the simplest window film install I have ever done. I am using this window film to frost the underside of a glass desktop, so it helped that I didn't have a window frame to contend with and I was able to lay the sheet of glass down flat. The film comes with a razor knife, straight edge and cloth, all of which I found helpful. On the first attempt I had some small persistent bubbles, but I found that I was able to solve the problem and get the bubbles to move more smoothly by lifting the film back up and applying more soapy water spray. Once the film was in position I trimmed the excess using the razor and the straight edge as a guide. The film is not very opaque, but has a good amount of texture; to me it looks more like real frosted glass than some of the more white/flat films on the market.

So easy to apply
So easy to apply. Each packet comes with blade and small ruler in the tubing the film is on wrapped in a cloth. I didn’t realize this until I had applied two rolls already. The rolls are not even so cut as close to the measurements as you can and then cut again after applied. I’m going to add layers above the ones I’ve alreay applied and leave space so we can still see outside. Our living room is so much brighter now that we don’t have to have the curtains closed. Too bright actually. This photo does not show how bright the light is. Not complaining though.I have our bedroom left and then I’ll do the rooms downstairs. This took two rolls. Enough left over to use on top for more layers.Sliding door is about 32 inches across. I went up to 56 inches in height.Windows are 25 and 26 approx. I just cut the sheet across for these measurements applied. Didn’t measure for height.

Bubbles appeared hours later
I've applied several of these products over the years. Never had a problem with other ones. This one I had on the windows perfect. I came back hours later and there were bubbles all around the edges. I am tearing it off and looking for another option. Product is just a little too thick I think.

Not worth it
This went on well but didn’t stay on, after two days it began to peel off and completely came off. I have bought other brands previous and had no issues so it’s not how I installed it.

Has visible lines horizontally through it.
I only gave this product 2 stars because even though it's easy to apply the product is not great. First of all it was not square so dont cut it without squaring the edges up first. Second, it has horizontal lines through it that you can see once it's up. It does the job and offers privacy however I wouldn't recommend it. I have used one from homedepot and was much happier with the results.

Doesn't stick for more than 2/3 days
I installed this exactly according to the instructions and videos I found online on 2 entry doors with 3 small windows in each.At first the product looked ok and was firmly adhered to the glass. 2 days later and 4 of 6 window film pieces were falling off (not just loose but actually falling off). The 2 sections that were still on the glass had formed micro bubbles that I could not squeeze out (almost like little dots of the film had lifted).I tried re-applying, again according to directions, but the same thing happened 2 days later. This product is not as advertised and I am going to try get my money back.
