Hodedah China Cabinet, Black Beech

This is a great looking and sturdy pantry. Does not take up a lot of space and provides good storage. The downside is that even 2 people with adequate skills would find this to be daunting to put together.. It took nearly 6 hours not 2 as they said on the instructions. If you are handy, should be relatively easy assembly. Once assembled . we were very pleased !

The cabinet would be fine for my intended use, if I had just ordered a new unopened unit. The item's condition was inaccurately advertised as "Condition: Used - Very Good - Item will come in original packaging. Packaging will be damaged." It should have correctly stated that the cabinet was in fair condition, at best. Nearly every panel has at least a few small scratches, if not more. Many panels and shelves have dented or bent corners. The two top cabinet doors were broken, so I had to use wood glue and clamp them to repair them. Many edges are rough. Some have the edge of the woodgrain printed laminate starting to peel. One of the shelf support pegs was either broken or misshapen from the start. All the pieces arrived in the package, but most of the packing became a snowstorm of styrofoam bits all over the kitchen. Instructions were difficult to follow, and many panels were unlabeled, so it took a lot of second-guessing myself to get it all right. Overall, I'd give this 1 / 5 stars. Definitely should've gone with a new, unopened unit, which would likely bring it up to 2 or mayyyybe 3 out of 5.

The directions are pretty easy to follow. Long process though. I think it took me about 4 hours by myself in total. Definitely better with 2 people. I love the black wood look, but it's definitely cheap. Which I'm sure you know from how much it costs. And it's best for a small household. It's smaller than I thought it would be, but it's just me and my son so it's fine for us. In my opinion it'll last me about 5 years. So great price for that.

Not the easiest to assemble, but the directions are clear and it took a little less than the suggested time (1.5 hours). Some of the pieces are scratched or the wood part is damaged. We had to use a power drill for a few parts. Not complaining for 135 bucks. You get what you pay for. Will be great for now, curious to see how long it takes before it starts falling apart.

PROS: It matched my dining table,it had pretty good storage space, top has room to hold a plant or two,surprised it had real glass panels on the doors and pretty sturdy for particle board. CONS: super dirty, alot of the parts were not labeled, STYROFOAM MESS, hard to get out of the box, drawer nailed from bottom and hell to put together. Overall, it serves its purpose in providing the extra space we needed at an affordable price. will it hold up? I think it will. as long as you don't overload it with stuff,especially the drawer.

Really smart looking. One person can assemble it, if needed. Took 3 1/2 Loki episodes (might have been a shorter process had Loki not been on). Happy with the quality - some of the boards weren’t numbered, but with a little process of elimination, you will be fine. Handles are a little cheap, will be replacing with something a little more sturdy, but that’s just personal preference.

We love our new microwave stand! Easy assembly if you take your time and follow directions. I put mine together in around 3 hours by myself. Everything went together perfectly. Only thing I didn't like was the Styrofoam packaging was very messy, but vacuum got it all up quickly. I would definitely recommend opening outside and wiping everything off. Otherwise great product for the price!

Almost went in the trash dump! Packing material fell apart and made a mess everywhere! Came with dents in most corners where they were not protected in shipping. Took 1/2 day and 2 people to assemble - the pieces that were labeled left a sticky mess that doesn't come off - Very cheap - No metal even pull handles were plastic and will prob come off soon. (not enough threads in screws on handles.) I regret my purchase BUT - it did arrive promptly. This is the only positive comment I could give you!!
