Beautiful glass, but the supports from which the shelf hangs are sturdy steel bolts covered by an incredibly cheap looking plastic material. In assembling one of my two tables, the plastic broke because it could not withstand even a small amount of pressure. I find it outrageous that such an expensive table, generally very well-made, has cosmetic features made of flimsy, cheap, Chinese plastic. Shame on the manufacturer.
