i grew up with homemade spaetzle. i learned from my mom how to make them the very old fashioned way. mine are awesome. but they are very time consuming to make. i think these are a very good sustitute for home made. my son (30 years old) is a spatzle lover since he was a little boy. he loves when i make these. i even got yelled at when i made them with tomato sauce once. he thought that was a total waste of a bag of his precious spaetzle. his favorite way to eat them (believe it or not) is mixed with my saved bacon fat! bottom line.... anyone who enjoys this german delicacy, will love these.

The best noodles I've ever eaten and it's made with seminola. Great taste and goes with anything. Can also when done fried in butter, add a little sugar and it's a great treat.

Spaetzle was a favorite side dish when I served in Germany. And this is the real deal. You might find small boxes of this in the grocery store like I did, but you won't find this. These are large noodles. They way they served it in Germany in Southern Bavaria. If you like German food, or just like pasta, try these. They are great. I was pleased to be able to get German Spaetzle here. I lived in Germany for 8 years as a child and always remember eating Spaetzle. The shipping was great and was the packaging. You can't go wrong with this.
