Heavy duty durable
We like the weight of the fabric and where the straps are positioned. Makes it easier to get a snug fit. We use the pole in the front of the front before the windshield. We have a 2006 Bayliner Bowrider. The cover turned a purplish color within a month. Lol Don’t really care. It has held up to sideways rain and strong winds that I thought might pick up our storage shed. We get real wind here in tornado alley. It has went through i e storms, snow storms, heat around 104 degrees. We are still using the same cover. Going strong. We bought 2 pool noodles and cut open longwise down one side and smashed them down along the top edge of the windshield. No sharp edges showing, cover gets snug there when tightened down and thats where our previous cover tore. So we addressed that issue before using this one. We bought the cheapest pvc pipe available at lows and cut it to fit inside the back from one side to other with an Arch higher than the tops of the seat backs, removes sag and helps water run off. Creates a high centered point. (The wind takes out a pole stand in the back of the boat under a cover like it’s nothing.) we made 2 of these arches in the back. The second one is real close to very back of the boat, and has about 6 inches lower Arch than the one by the captain's chairs behind the windshield, about midway on the boat. This does not allow any water to puddle on the cover and rip it. The flex in the pvc keeps ot tight against the inside the boat walls. The cover tightened down applies downward pressure against the arches in the curved pvc poles. It’s not going anywhere until you move it.Our boat has stayed bone dry. When we need to replace it, we will buy this cover again. We bought it in 2019.

It fit my boat great and held up really nice when towing.
One of the strap clips broke prematurely, but the 2 states of plastic are: broken and waiting to break. I had a spare one, so we were good to go. The cover kept the boat contents dry during the several rain storms that we had recently. so thumbs up.

Overall a good cover but will never be an exact fit. Good value.
Good Quality cover and fits well on my Sea Ray 182. MUCH better than the crappy wall mart cover I had been using. Good thick material and the straps are easy to slip around the trailer frame and cinch up tightly. I still had to use poles to keep water from collecting which is a pain but I can't imagine how any cover of this type would not sag when hit with heavy rain. I placed a short pole up in the front right on the bow cushions. For the back, I used the pole this cover came with and tied three 7-8ft lines of paracord to the top of the pole, One goes straight back to the stern tow hook, I then have two lines going diagonally to cleats just aft of the windshield. This now anchors the pole with three points and makes it rock solid so when I pull the cover over the pole stays put. Takes me less than 5 min to remove or install the whole thing. The vents in the back of the cover "seem" to help in keeping the boat interior dry but hard to tell. I was a little skeptical about how useful the storage bag would be but its actually pretty easy to stuff the cover back in the bag which makes it nice and tidy when not in use. Only had it about a month so far but Ill update this review in a year.

better than I hoped
I ordered one size larger and it covers bow mounted trolling motor and gas motor in back. Material is thicker than I expected and well made. Great price too

Could have been great
I bought this cover in June to replace the custom cover we got when our boat was new. We really hated to give up the original cover that snapped on but the canvas was shredding apart. This cover is attractive, I really like the gray and seems very durable. I didn't have any trouble figuring out how to put it it on. It is fairly obvious that you attach the straps underneath their position on the cover. There are however two major problems that I wish the manufacturer had considered. First, since our original cover snapped on, we used it all the time, even when the boat was in the water. We just snapped it on the boat at night and when it rained. It kept the boat nice and clean over the summer. This cover, since it was made to attach to a trailer is not so great when the boat is in the water. I imagine you could get in the water and run the lines underneath the boat, but we haven't tried that. The other, OBVIOUS, thing you could do is tighten the elastic strap that runs around the cover so that it gives a snug fit. However, the cover is not designed to permit this. It has a loose fit that you can address when you strap it to the trailer but it isn't what I want in rough weather when the boat is in the water. The other problem has been mentioned by many other reviewers. I really, really don't like the pole that holds up the cover. It would be so easy to fix. A slightly stronger plastic and the ability to screw the different pieces together would pretty much solve the problem. As it is now, first it bends then it falls apart at the joints. It is so frustrating! I guess it doesn't make much sense when I say that I wish it came with two poles. It could really use a shorter one for the front of the boat. It is a testament to how strong the cover is that after a particularly brutal storm the cover was holding what seemed to be 25 or more gallons of water without ripping. So, for trailering your boat, this cover is great. It is strong and attractive. The price was good and it arrived quickly. Since it isn't specific to one boat manufacturer, it is obviously not going to provide a custom fit. But it could provide a much better fit if they would just make the the elastic edge adjustable. The pole has a fairly large circumference, but I think it looks much more useful than it actually is.

Outboard Ski-Boat Cover
We store our boat outdoors and use this as our winter boat cover to save our custom made cover. It has faded from grey to a purplish color but still does the job going onto the 4 winter.

18' boat - Consider the model E
Overall I think the cover is of good quality for the price. Given the product dimensions I thought the model C would fit my boat but after reading some reviews I thought it would be best to get a size up (the model D) and leave myself a bit of room. I have an 18' boat that is approximately 6' wide. When reading the product dimensions the model D is supposed to be good for a boat 17' to 19' long and 102" wide (8.5').When I received the cover the base of the support pole was split in half. This support pole is of poor quality and I cant imagine it would ever work very well, especially if it was in place while in tow. I figured I could build something to replace this and decided to fit the cover on the boat anyways. When I put the cover over the boat it was clear that it wasn't going to fit around the windshield. The height dimensions for the windshield were not clear in the description but getting the size up I would of expected it to fit now problem. Overall length from bow to stern seems relatively close but the width around the windshield was out by about 8-10"s.I will likely shop around a bit more before I make a decision on if I buy another one another size up (Model E).

Good value, looks sharp.
Not sure about durability as it is new to me. I would like to be able to adjust the tension of the bungy cord, it fits well on my 18' Sea Ray 170 Bowrider and even covers the rear swim grid. A little fuller cut to go over the windshield would be better, it still comes down past the rub rail, but not as uniformily as the rest of the cover. The support pole is required in the cockpit, reducing the volume in this area would also be good. The straps fasten nicely to the trailer and are plenty long, it does billow somewhat during trailering at highway speeds. All in all I am pleased with the value. Happy Boating!
