Best coffee ever
A friend bought a small bag of El Yodito coffee for me from Costa Rica. It was the best coffee I ever had. I found it on Amazon and am delighted to be able to have it. the coffee was delivered on time and will enjoy having a cup every morning

HAS ADDED SUGAR
I didn't even try it because the description does not mention anywhere that the ingredients are coffee and SUGAR. This is a very important detail customers should know before buying. I read the ingredients in Spanish upon arrival, but even that didn't describe the amount of sugar in the package or per serving.

Lovely medium roast coffee with light fruity overtones
I am usually a dark roast drinker, but this is really a treat. Medium roast coffee with low acidity and a light fruitiness. The product listing says 'honey and maple'.... I'm down with that (less maple-y, but the honey is spot on).Surprising amount of crema when I tried this in the espresso machine. I think it will make excellent iced coffee, but haven't tried that yet.A lovely smooth cup of coffee, with a lot going on. I really love this.

Very strong/bitter with sugar.
The first few times I drank this coffee I liked it. But it does have sugar and as a diabetic I noticedmy blood glucose levels increasing. So I cannot drink this any more. If you are not diabetic, like strong coffee with sugar would recommend it.

Don't do it
Have you ever added used coffee grounds to a plants soil. Well go dig it back out, and re-run it. About the same flavor I'd guess.Waste of money.

flavorful
Had to change my review ... written in Spanish is the ingredient sugar. This coffee contains coffee and sugar.Great if you are on the standard American diet and don't care. Bad if sugar has been out of your life for years and now it got snuck back in. Since it has sugar in it, I agree with another reviewer ... it should have a nutritional label on it.Sugar aside ... This coffee has a good unique flavor. I cannot describe the flavor, but it IS different. We sometimes use a coffee by Peak Performance which is organic and has less chance of mold and that coffee is super smooth. THIS coffee just has a nice bold, non bitter, flavorful taste. The two are just different. It is interesting how different brands have different nuances. You get two bags here and unfortunately right out the door I had a complaint. It wasn't a dealbreaker, but usually, on most bagged coffees there are these built in tabbie thingies that you can use to help roll your bag up and it keeps the coffee fresher. I had to search the office for a binder clip to do the job. I can't rate the item lower for that because plastic and metal will end up in the landfills so maybe it was left off intentionally.Enjoyable coffee, but the added sugar makes this a NO until there is some clarification, which I cannot find anywhere. I wouldn't repurchase this or recommend.

Delicious!
I don't think I've ever had Costa Rican coffee before now. I'm a big fan!I thought it might be super-strong tasting, but it's actually more of a mellow taste, and it gives that lovely feeling that a GOOD morning coffee provides. It's ground so finely, I thought maybe I had ordered instant coffee by mistake, but that's just how it is, I guess.Anyway, it smells and tastes delightful and I would definitely order it again!

Coffee?
At my age, I'm sure I've had worse coffee, but frankly, I can't remember when...
