I love this dry shampoo, it smells so nice and I find that it really works. Only downside is that it does sometimes leave white residue if you spray too close or in the same spot for too long.

Not used dry shampoo since the swinging sixties when I had my Cathy McGowan mod hair which took ages to dry and then had to iron it straight! Yes we did that! Anyway this dry shampoo works a treat. Being old and decrepit now, but still having longish hair although not quite the same as Cathy's, when I recently had shoulder surgery I couldn't bend over the wash basin or take a shower to wash my hair, so came on Amazon and looked up dry shampoos. This is one of the old brands I remember so went for this one. Just life the hair up by one saction at a time and give it a quick squirt and when you've done all your hair rub it into the hair (not the scalp) and comb your hair. Reminds me a bit of when. we used to put talc on greasy hair back in the day, because it makes your hair look a bit dead and dry looking, but maybe that's just me. But it defiantly soaks up all the grease and you can go out to the shops without people thinking. you never wash. The scent is acceptable, I can't stand those flowery ones that make you smell like you've rubbed your hair with toilet duck, or the forrest ones that makes it smell like a pine toilet cleaner. So I'm glad I got this particular one, which is the original. Makes my hair smell fresh and clean without the hint of bathroom. I'll be getting another when this one's used up, same scent. Oh and it lasts on your hair for ages too, so if you had to go to work and use it before leaving you'd only have to do it twice a week I reckon. Very handy thing to keep in the bathroom cabinet.

I've been hunting for the perfect dry shampoo for a very long time now. I've tried an easy half dozen, more I'm sure. To date this is by far my favorite. I had found one other that I loved, my hair felt great, looked reat, and it lasted all day -- However the whole day I left white fingerprints all over everything. Black pants anyone? No. After I found that I kept trying to find something else that worked so well and didn't leave the fingerprints behind. Some made my hair sticky, some made my hair stiff, some just didn't seem to do anything. This Batiste is perfect. It does all of the things you would want, your hair looks as if you've washed it that morning. Your hair still FEELS like hair, it's very touchable. I have dark auburn hair and you can't see any residue in my hair at all. There's no strong scent that comes along with the product either. I can spray this in my hair in the morning, go to work all day, go out for drinks after, not get home until late, and my hair still looks oil free. Also, unlike some of the others I've tried, I don't have to be terribly careful with the usage either. If I accidentally spray too much, meh, that's ok.; It's always worked into my hair just fine. I spray it in all the roots and all over the top of my head lightly, then go about my business getting ready. after some time I rub my scalp with my fingers, then leave it alone again. Sometimes 2 minutes go by, sometimes 10, it doesn't seem to matter. Then after some more time passes I rub it into my scalp with my fingers again. then right before I get dressed I run a brush through my hair. Perfect results every time. The best part is, I can use it several days in a row (3 to 4 with no problems) and it works great day after day with no washing in between. (I also have no problems using a flat iron after I've worked it into my hair). When I do wash my hair, it washes out with no problems. I don't have to rinse and repeat, I don't have buildup left behind, It just washes out like nothing, not effecting the lather of my shampoo at all. All around great product that I would recommend to anyone with a more oily scalp
