ToneriderGenerator Bridge Pickup - Gold

Great pickup! Very vintage sounding humbucker sized P90. Humbucker sized P90s will never sound exactly like a soapbar or dogear P90, but these are close! I play lots of slide, and like all P90s, they work well together! I installed this in the Squier 51 I also purchased from Amazon. This pickup rocks, and cleans up nicely. Hard to beat!

I bought this to replace the humbucker in the bridge position on my Fender Blacktop Jazzmaster. I love the Jazzmaster, but i'm not a big fan of humbucker. So i have been looking for an affordable P90 that fit a hum bucker slot. I could have routed the slot larger to fit a jazzmaster pickup, but that would have ended in disaster! I found this one on Amazon, and the price is pretty affordable. It only had one review, a good rating, I decided to go for it.There was a couple of other options too, but i'm no snob. I liked that Tonerider is a new company too, gotta support the up and comers!I had a really hard time installing it, but that's because i have never done anything like this before. I emailed Tonerider asking for some tips and maybe helpful schematics. I got an email back after just a couple of minutes telling me exactly what i should do, he also said if that didn't work out, he would draw up schematics just for me and email it to me. Wow! I followed his advise and it worked out. The P90 looks awesome on the jazz and it sounds great! It's such a hot pickup! I love it! It does sound like a P90 definitely, a hot one!
