This would be the 8th or 9th hotwire fencing I've purchased from Starkline. Most are for our hogs, so we can move them around the farm and keep them on pasture.The last two I purchased were for the garden and bees. The chickens LOVE to destroy my garden and the llamas love to kick my bee hive over, so I decided to protect them both.Set up is easy. Solar charger boxes are easy to attach and move around. The oldest fencing I have is 5 years and still going strong. They don't fade in the sun and haven't blown over with hurricane. 10/10 highly recommended this product.

Easily installed.

The netting it's self is good quality. The poles, however, are a different story. The original netting I had alread has white poles that were rigid and did not bend making it easy to get the netting tight. The poles with this netting are very easy to bend making it very difficult to get the netting tight. If possible, make sure the poles with your netting are the white ones and you should have no problem!

Not sturdy at all, the metal spikes bend so easily/break off. Lame product. Needs anchors. Conductivity sucks. Do yourself the favor get the premier one at the same price better product.

My friend purchased another brand of this type of fence and it was awesome. So I got this one and finally got around to put it around my garden. The fence does not tighten up between each staked in post. They droop and the middle energized part touches the ground and you can hear little zaps as it grounds out. I think this fence was just poorly manufactured and the posts bend like rubber when they should be made of something solid like fiberglass. I also witnessed a rabbit of decent size jump right through one of the squares of the fence while it was energized. I purchased two of these units just under $500 and just missed the return window. I thought I would share my experience so others wouldn't lose like I did.

This netting is great for it's intended use - very durable. I also use one around my garden to keep unwanted critters out of my garden.

It works!

So the first complaint is that pictures show a solar electric source and nowhere in the description does it say it isn't included. The description indicates no wiring and ready to go. Hard for an electric fence to be ready to go without wiring or power. I bought a solar fence power unit and ground rod and had some wire to make the connection to hot and ground. Wiring is required despite the false claim. The fence barely works. I have seen chickens with their head through the fence eating grass outside and not get zapped. The posts are super flimsy. I don't see this fence lasting very long. If you are looking for a cheap solution that may last a couple of years, this is your product, otherwise buy something else.

I’ve had this fence for a few months now, and wanted to share my feedback on how it’s performing.1. If you have small chicken breeds such as Azures this fence won’t work, at full size the birds still go right through the holes every day. It’s quite frustrating!2. This fence is easy to move which is great, but after a few months of usage some of the poles are bending making me worried about how they will hold up long term.3. I wish the fence was a little taller. Some of my birds flew out as well, so be prepared to clip wings to solve this issue.4. This fence also sags between the poles. I solved this by buying cheap $2 poles and placed in-between, but for the price paid its not great.Overall I give them 3 stars as it is easy to move, which was my main reason for buying it, and if I didn’t have the Azures small chickens I would have been okay with the rest of its downsides.

The fence is great, but the poles are plastic and need lots of guy wires in my opinion.
