I haven't used these much but when I have they have not let me down. I purchased them mostly for my emergency sew kit. It has everything I need for mending on the go.

These are what I can use with Arthritis!! I've sewn all my life, and now I can't see regular needles to thread (even with glasses on) nor hold tiny needles. Thankfully, these work for me! Or even larger ones. Hope this helps someone. Oh, they do an awesome job repairing cushions, pillows.

this is a second of this needle pack i've purchased... I actually suck at sewing anything hehe but these needles seem sturdy and of just the right size combo for emergency use... from regular, thinner type of material repair - using the smaller two needles in the set - to leather and other tough, thick stuff, using the largest ones, or even the curved needles.... it will not be neat looking but if required, I can sew something together well enough to fix/mend it... interestingly though, one of these thickest needles in this set has a very blunt, rounded tip... I suppose it's with a good reason and purpose but being a laic in this department, the reason escapes my comprehension at present... just an fyi.....[edited] i've recently purchased a set of 'wm. smith & son' sail needles set and they're far above any other heavy duty/twine needles i've purchased before, in quality, sharpness and finish; including the 'dritz' set above.... you'll have to pay much more but if you're after the very best in all purpose heavy duty twine needles, go with the w. smith & son' and you'll have a set of sail needles that'll last you a life time...

The primary reason I bough this kit was the thick curved needle I used for heavy canvas. It was strong and easy to use. And most importantly, it was made in the Czech Republic, a great industrial nation.
