I bought these earrings as a birthday present for myself and when they arrived I was absolutely delighted! The earrings are as shown and the packaging is so intentional that I actually felt as if I had in fact received a birthday present. The earrings came in a lovely, soft, decorative drawstring pouch and the very sturdy box they came in was designed to assure that the earrings would not be damaged in transit. Everything about this item was professional, including the order sheet which provides a customer telephone number. I am a long time Amazon shopper and as much as I want to, I think I have only written three detailed reviews, I just don't have time. But, I purposefully saved the box so I could write this review and then it took me several months before I could find the box and write this review. Bottom line, the artistry and quality that went into the earrings, the packaging and shipping was worth me taking the time it took to write this review.

This was a gift for a dear friend who has ties to Thailand—-she was delighted to receive them with the special craftsman inscription and note.

These are beautiful earrings. The quality and craftmanship are excellent. Unfortunately, I'm returning them but only because they are too heavy for me to wear. Also, just a heads up that the photograph is correct -- it's gold thread running through the beads, but gold thread is also used instead of a head pin (this is clear in the photo). Because of this, one of the earrings didn't hang straight down, but rather hung slightly crooked. Since it was thread instead of a metal head pin in the center, it couldn't be straightened. So remember this is handmade and there will be small aberrations. I'm returning the earrings because they're too heavy for me. If they were lighter, I would have kept them even with one of them hanging slightly crooked. They're very beautiful.

Especially for the price. They take a little longer to arrive but it is worth it! They are well made, top notch materials and the packaging and note from the person that made theses is a wonderful, sincere idea. Makes for a great little gift. I will definitely purchase more. Thank you.
