Brooks Men's Ghost 15 Neutral Running Shoe

First Levitate; definitely not my last
Read numerous reviews before buying these. I am a forefoot striker and have had a number of foot issues since turning 40. Brooks Ghost were my last pair of running shoes and they are more neutral foot strike and cushion so not much improvement in my toe box pain level.I was suspicious of the fit and feel after receiving them. The tongue is silly. It is not a full tongue, it is sewn in at the very top leaving little room to put your foot in. I have narrow feet with high arches so it hasn't been an issue... ever... until now. Once you do get the tongue pushed back into the shoe and flat it is barely noticeable. What IS noticeable immediately is the rear heel cup. Many reviewers noted the tight heel cup and the odd placement of the band around your upper Achilles area. It is lower than most shoes but so tight that it rubs with every movement.I have run for a long time and typical first 2 or 3 runs in a shoe result in some discomfort and blisters. If you are not prepared for this then Levitate will likely get bad reviews. I was prepared and I can tell you the tightness feels great and the "heat" from the contact point goes away after a couple runs. The best part is that the Levitate actually allows me to run more than 1x per week now. The forefoot cushion is excellent. The rigidity of the spine is enough to prevent arch strain, which forefoot runners are very familiar with. Overall this is a great shoe for forefoot strikers with the understanding that you need to break them in.Would be great if there were some more interesting colors and patterns available.

Shoes so nice I’ve bought em twice
I love these shoes for work. The wear and tear on the soles of my shoes at work are harsh. I switched from regular running shoes to trail running shoes because the soles are typically more durable. These are durable and just as comfortable as a regular tennis shoe. I will continue to buy theses!

Wears Like Iron
Solid, comfortable jogging shoe that wears like iron, and at a reasonable price! Just a tad tight in the toe box for me, but I stretched them out a bit with shoe trees.

Great but small
These are so comfortable but run a half size small. I wear a womens size 11 and often get mens tennis shoes since they’re easier to find. I have a very normal foot and these were about a half a size too small for me. If you have a wide foot I’d recommend sizing up as my foot is narrow and there’s not a lot of extra room on the sides. They are very comfortable and I’ll be getting my normal size after I return the smaller pair.

los mejores tenis que he tenido
los tenis son excelentes para las largas salidas en trail, super comodos, resistentes y con buen soporte

Unfit for human feet - Cheap construction AND poor fit
I don't often get the chance to write a 1-star review. I try to make good choices but once in a while I make such a terrible mistake that a one star review is the only thing I can do.I have a history with Brooks Levitate. I have had three pairs of the original. As they are hard to find I thought I'd buy the latest version. Version 4 has to be better than the original, right? Wrong, so very wrong.I ordered a pair at my correct size and I was surprised that they didn't fit.1. The toes turn in too early meaning that my big toe is not at the widest part of the shoe.2. The top of the sneaker where the toes are is too low so it was pressing down on my toes.3. The cushioning at the toes runs out too early so your toes are only supported by a thin rubber membrane. Ouch, ouch, ouch. They are not as cushoning as the original Levitate. And finally, ankle support. The material at the heel is prohylactically thin. There is no support for the ankle at all. What a disaster. These clearly were not designed for human feet. The original Levitate was an expensive snealer (~ $150) but Levitate 4 are ~ $110. I can see each and every spot where money was saved. And each of these savings came at the cost of comfort, wearability, cushiion and function.Give these a miss. They will hurt your feet and won't fit. Utter rubbish.

Maybe go half a size bigger
These are infact Levitate 4 not ‘3’ (not that it’s an issue). If you do your homework they are as the reviews are given…very compfy running trainer which is a little tight compared to my levitate ‘2’ the same size, so maybe go half size bigger. Shipped from the USA so took about 10 days. Very happy with the purchase
