Great product, heats up quickly, has an auto-shut off (in case you forget to turn it off), and works great. I particularly like that you can press a "Lock" button that prevents you from accidentally turning it off or changing the heat setting while you are using it. The reservoir for the water is a good size, I don't seem to need to fill it frequently, but then I use it mostly for bangs and a few curls. The temperature is adjustable, but don't forget it is in Celsius. It has a button on each side; if you want to straighten your hair, the barrel splits in two and you can straighten. If you want to curl, press the other button, and the barrel stays together for curling. I have been using it for a few months now, and really like it. The quality is very good. It was shipped from Japan (so you won't get it in a couple of days like other Amazon purchases) and did require a signature. I did get it ahead of the scheduled delivery date.I might take away a half star because it did not come with a small water bottle to hold your distilled water like some of the steam curlers do. I have one and it's perfect for this use, but it might be something they want to add in the future.

I had one of these before and left it in a hotel. I was crushed. This thing is great. I have very fine hair and this produces good curls that hold when sprayed lightly. Seems to have much less damage than traditional irons and I don't need to leave my hair in it as long. Worth the money.

I have fine bleached hair. I love my blonde but have to avoid must all curling irons because they damaged my hair. This took forever to get her but was worth the wait. I put a drop of oil in the water resivoure and my hair is doing great I also set the heat on 200 and that’s all this fine hair needs. Highly recommend this product.

I actually bought one exact same model from japan but i lost it in a short trip. Tried to use another brand’s curler but still find this is the best. When i found this item from amazon i was so happy because i couldnt afford to go back to japan to get one.

Have to wait for shipping from Japan but it is still the best 2-way steam iron in the market.Temperature control is a great feature for the odd times that hair is still damp.The option of flat iron and curling iron sets this model apart, I do have to find someone who reads Japanese to make use of the manual.The effort is worth the quality.
