Any reviewer complaining about durability isn't careful to begin with. Don't over compress the sections and this is fine. Lightweight, good carrying case, easy to assemble and take apart. It goes wherever I do! Good action and good casting rod.

Took this rod on my southamerica fishing trip and it handled very well. Coupled with a Abu Garcia Revo it felt light and casted great. The pouch is hardy and padded for protection. No complains so far. Expect to be using more this summer for local fishing trips. Will update if issues arise.

I took this rod on hiking and kayaking fishing trip creeks in Tennessee. This rod was awesome it took beating drops on rocks , it handled big bites and fish. The is well priced rod with tough case as well . I also bought the bait cast rod and again very for throwing big baits it handle very as well, I didn’t get real chance to fish it long enough be -cause I dropped in river and it was too deep and . I’m so impressed with rods. I’ll be getting again soon.

Bought for a trip to Florida. Great for travel, lightweight for carrying and works perfect for fishing! Great case!

Hello, I am a fishing guide in the Amazon, every year I go and fish all season with clients from various parts of the world. I recently bought two goture baitcasting travel rods. I used them for 6 days of fishing, I managed to catch some peacockbass of up to 20 lbs, but one of them broke with a small fish. I really liked the performance of the rods, I think it has suddenly been a factory defect. I would like to know if there is a possibility that you would send me the piece of rod that was broken, since I would like to continue using that cane. Thank you.

Thought this rod was great when it arrived. Quality feel and good case. Definitely what I wanted. Bought it for a camping trip that was coming up in a month. Used it once. Hooked a 1.5lb bass (if that) and the rod broke at 3rd piece. Ridiculous. Smallest fish I could have caught and broke the rod!? I've never had a rod snap on any fish. Very disappointing. I knew it wasn't the highest quality based on price but this thing didn't even show up to the game. Broke during "warm ups" haha Definitely do not buy

It' really a nice fishing rod. Caught a lot of fish with it and some big ones too. Unfortunately the first portion of it broke when I was trying to bring in 20". It was probably already has a very thin hairline crack and didn't noticed it. I'd probably buy another one but this time it will the correct one,...a spinning rod not a casting rod. a mistake on my part. This is perfect for overseas flight. Plenty of room left in a 50" international luggage.
