They got the balance in that film:soft/ hard core. Wired and weird at times BONKERS!

Scarface meets 50 Shades - sort of
Set in the world of international gangsters and drug trafficking, the boss of a gang kidnaps a young woman and holds her prisoner in the belief that within 365 days she will fall in love with him or she will be set free. A strange sort of arrangement given the travel to exotic locations. Sometimes violent and sometimes sexually violent, the filmmakers, in my opinion, opt for the porn type of sex action and not in a good way. For me at least, the plot seems a bit confusing given the usual whispering and mumbling that passes for conversation nowadays; and the subtitles do not always help in this respect. This is not a film that I will be returning to very soon. The DVD has Dolby 5.1 and 2.0 sound options. The language is Polish with optional Polish and English subtitles. Run time is 109 minutes. Extras consist of several location reports but unfortunately there is little information.

Wow !
Was für eine Story ! Die Bücher waren der Hammer. Hab ' dann lange überlegt, ob ich mir den Film kaufen soll. Hatte Bedenken , dass der Film nicht so gut wird, wie die Bücher. Dank dem Schauspieler Michel Morrone ist der Film absolut spektakulär geworden. Einfach nur WOW! Total positiv überrascht. Die polnische Sprache ( oder englisch ) hat mir nichts ausgemacht. Es ging super mit meinen tschechischen Kenntnissen. Schade nur um das tragische Ende des Films.

I like the movie, it was short, but worthwhile watching. I'm waiting for part 2. I've read somewhere Laura didn't died, but somewhere I read the evil twin brother of Maximo has her & she falls in love with him. She is pregnant by Maximo. It's an interesting story & hope part 2 won't take long because of the virus.
