Grieat item
This item was exactly as described and very easy to use. I got one for both my husband and me. I found it very easy to use and enter information. Updating it very easy and I love the area for emergency medical info. My husband takes a blood thinner and has CAD and I could enter that in a special section at the top, which flashes for attention. It even has a way to lock the file so that it can't be corrupted or changed by accident.

Great Idea - Design Flaws
The is GREAT and in Word format allowing for easy data entry, however when entering information, the second page is locked and I cannot enter prescription medication information. Wouldn't all agree that this is extremely important? I checked the website, there is no patch nor update for it, I have written to customer service department for MedicTag and am awaiting a response, who knows if/when I'll get one. I feel like I wasted 30 bucks. All the fancy endorsements do not fix the problem that exisits.

ICE Medic
I bougth this for myself, and numerous other types for all of my family. The others you are able to download an identifing picture of yourself (a must have for EMS & Hospitals), any, POA's , Heathcare POA's, & Living Wills, ect. Along with X-ray results, current labs, ect. On this product, it does not.It is limited to a specific medical history. Being in the healthcare industry, I personally, would buy myself one that has all of the above mentioned items, for legal reasons. Make sure to include your current dentist and their phone number also, another must have for EMS/Medical people.

MedicTag, Just what I needed
Carrying a USB medic alert is a perfect way to convey all of your medical history when you are unable to do it yourself. MedicTag is just right for those (like me) who have more than one medical condition. Most of the USB medical devices require a yearly subscription. A USB identifier that has a subscription is useless if the company that you get the subscription from goes out of business, which in the present is a probability. Another plus, for me, is the fact that you don't have to wear it as a bracelet. You can wear it around your neck or put it on your keychain, which is what I did. What I found was that it is cheaper thru Amazon than it is directly from the manufacturer. MedicTag Digital USB Personal Medical Alert Device

Unhappy Customer!!
I was happy to receive them before Christmas, but very disappointed after plugging it into my computer. The information template on the jump drive is very plain. Doesn't have an area for family history, hospitalizations and only has room for 1 insurance. I could have bought a jump drive cheaper and made a better template that this and it is a very flimsy, cheap jump drive!!! Very unhappy with this product and don't know if I can return it now that I have information in it!! Bought total of 3, one for me and one for my mom and dad!!!

Excellant
I'm very happy with this product! The forms were very simple to fill out and I carry this on my keychain wherever I go. I have medical problems that Emergency crews need to be aware of before tend to me and to have this product that they can just plug into their laptop is a good feeling. I still wear an emergency bracelet just in case they don't find my keys with this on the keychain but it has a complet medical history for any emergency personel showing past surgeries, current doctors and medications. Very happy with the product and the price.

Not what I ordered!
I ordered the MedicTag in the picture...the white one with the red letters on it. But I received a metal one instead, half the size of the white one, and very hard to see the markings that identify it as a MedicTag. When I spoke to the guy who sent it to me, he told me the white version was discontinued. That's hard to believe since it's advertised all over the Internet. But I ended up keeping the two I ordered, which, as stated, are shiny metal and not white.

Not please but will make due
I ordered THIS item, but received what they said was an updated version. What we got is not as easy to use. The video that came for what we got was for this pictured Medictag not for the item they sent. I didn't return this because we had to work with it to find what to do. Returning it would have cost us a reshelving charge. Till I can fine better, I will make due with what they sent.
