Good value quality on par.
Install went without issue. No air leaks or codes from the autoride computer. I ran compressor, ride height sensor, electronic dampening and compressor purge diagnostics before replacing my stock shocks to verify no other issues or parts needed attention. My advanced diagnostics tool shows these to be working electronic dampeners, if they aren’t, you cannot tell: the ride is like back when my 2002 was fresh off the lot.Other than not having brand stickers all over them, they are identical to other aftermarket replacements with a non-stock shock design.I’m happy I bought these.Important Note: make sure you disconnect your battery before lifting and replacing you Z55 shocks and reconnect it only after your truck is fully on the ground.

Z55 shocks that don't break the bank.
The electric air shocks on my 2002 suburban with autoride were blown out and I was ready to get passive z55 bypass shocks until I found these. They arrived well packaged and were a perfect fit. I also replaced the compessor at the same time. When I set it down and started the engine, I heard the compessor turn on and watched my sagging old suburban stand tall again. She handles and rides great again. I hope these last, because it was great to be able to keep my electric suspension and not break the bank.

Honestly, they are cheap and made from plastic. The Stabilitrack and ABS Lights are on.
I replaced my rear shocks on a 2007 GMC Yukon Denail XL 1500 with 100 dollar pair from Advanced Auto Parts. The pair that they had didn't include the sensor at the top of the shock. SO, It setoff the stabilitrack lights and ABS lights on the dash. I didn't like that so I purchased these and kept the old ones on and waited for these to arrive. I put these ones on and even with them having the included plug for the sensor. The warning lights came on. The ones from Advanced Auto Parts were nicer quality and made from steel and would last longer on your vehicle. I wish I had gone with them from the start. If I had only known that these are crap from the start. The fittings and valve body on these shocks are made from plastic and it appears that they break within a year from what I have researched. I will be replacing with ones from AC Delco to get my dash board to chill out. Hopefully this helps. I would suggest if you are going to buy these just buy the ones from advanced and you will be happier and safer.

Pieces of crap. Solenoid error out of the box. Don’t want to take back
I installed the shocks and never could clear the right rear solenoid error C0590. There’s nowhere on the Internet that explains that the solenoid is built into the shock. I finally get into a mechanic that is an expert in air ride and he says the shock is bad. Now Amazon shows me that I went past the return date because of the long wait to get into a mechanic.

My right rear blew out in 10 days or less
I had these installed by a mechanic with a car lift, along with a new onboard compressor. This would be near impossible laying on your back in the driveway.

Only one of a pair delivered. Shocks
Just wondering why I was only sent 1 shock absorber when it clearly says apair on the order, am I waiting on the 2nd or do I need to return this 1because it should be 2, which is a pair.
