Excellent Boot
This remains an excellent boot, although the ankle padding seems to be rather thinner than it was was with the Targhee ii. Hopefully, this will become less obvious as the boots wear in. Everything else is just fine - well made, good fit, plenty of grip, waterproof as described. I've worn Targhee shoes and boots for years now and can't see any reason to change.

Comfortable waterproof and resilient
I like everything about these boots. Above all their comfort and the support they give on long walks over difficult terrain

Wide fit
Very wide toe box. Would suit some but I like a narrow fit. I returned item 8 days ago and still no update or refund. Which is why I am giving 3 stars

Wider fit
Ordered these boots as they seem a wider fit than standard, and they were perfect.

Not a serious hiking boot
I purchased a pair of these Keen boots in June 2020. I used them for 5 day hikes over the next three months after which the fabric started coming away near the lacing at the ankle. Soles not very grippy, little ankle support and they need mega extra cushion insoles otherwise the wearer feels every stone underfoot. Only plus point is the wide toe box. If what you want is a lightweight, waterproof (at least initially) boot/trailshoe for undemanding terrain and accept manufacturing quality may not be the best then they may be ok for you. After some to-ing and fro-ing I receved a refund from Keen of 75% of the purchase price. Will not buy again.
