Therepe Thai Lemongrass Scented Soy Jar Candle

I ordered the 3 candle package with Lavender, Sandalwood, and Thai Lemongrass. I love the Lavender because it is strong without being overpowering and the scent lingers even after you blow out the candle. The Thai Lemongrass is a sharp citrus smell, so I use that for my living room and it leaves a nice light scent through the whole space. My problem is with the Sandalwood. I burned it in my bathroom for about an hour with the door cracked open. Well, when I blew it out and turned on the bathroom light, there was a light, black film all over my toilet seat, toilet lid, and mirror! At first I thought it might just be mold (ew) but now I find that whenever I burn the candle in there, EVEN with the wick trimmed as short as it can be, there is a disgusting black film all over my bathroom. Even worse, when I blow my nose after blowing out the candle, there's black film in my tissue as well! I realize this may be TMI, but I'm concerned that these soy candles are apparently not-so-clean. Maybe it shouldn't be burned in such a small space, but it's still disgusting and you should definitely be able to burn a darn candle in the bathroom without getting black film everywhere.

I love soy candles, because they are smokeless and don't leave soot residue on my ceilings. This Therepe scented soy candle had a very soothing scent to it. The kind you would imagine a massage therapist would use. It also had a long burning life. I was very pleased and would recommend it to anyone.

The candles are excellent. There is a long burn time and the smell is great. I ordered the Thai Lemongrass - which is fresh but kind of spicy - very nice. One candle in a box of four was inexplicably broken although packed very well. Upon contacting the seller I received immediate response and the candle was replaced along with some extras. Very pleasant, prompt and outstanding customer service. I will buy candles for myself again soon. And they'll make great gifts with the beautiful wrapping.

CANDLES (ALL SCENTS) ARE VERY LIGHTLY SCENTED. SINCE THEY BURN NICELY, THEY DO LOOK NICE WHEN COUPLED WITH ANOTHER CANDLE (S) THAT ACTUALLY HAVE A SCENT. ON THEIR OWN, NOT MUCH FRAGRANCE.

Have ordered many times. Great vendor. Great shipping. Favorite scents are Thai lemongrass and Indian chai. Always best to order at least 10 or more. What I don't use around the house make great little gifts in a pinch because of the beautiful packaging. Worth stepping out of my usual prime only free shipping because these candles are such a great value, lovely to look at, subtle scent. Go to, must have purchase.

I have breathing problems and cannot use the ordinary candles so try to buy the soy ones. I do like these but feel the perfume is very faint.

Great sent but too small for the money

I love the way this candle smells, however, I would prefer a bit more fragrance. It's healthier than most other candles and I love knowing that it burns so much cleaner.
