Nexus 6 does not fit.
Regardless of the Nexus 6 being specifically listed, which is why I purchased this unit, it does not fit. Yes I can get it in there, warping the cradle and having to turn the Nexus on every time as the cradle hits the power button no matter how you try to shoehorn it. Beyond that there seems to be no way to interact with the phone once in the device. It seems you are to line up a virtual pointer and tap the screen to select the action. No way to tap the screen or any button. I suppose the included remote would serve that purpose, if it would pair with the Nexus. No amount of effort would make that happen. Nowhere in the documentation is the QR code required to set up the Google Cardboard app either. Using the QR in Amazon's pictures did work and recognized the unit, but that should have been on the box or in the manual. The unit seems well built, so I am going to play with it with an iPhone before deciding if I keep it. I bought for the Nexus though, believing the explicit indication it would fit. Not happy.

The build is a bit clunky, the focus never seems right, and you have to jump through too many hoops to get the remote to work in 'mouse mode' for google cardboard to function properly.

1 does a better job than this thing
First thing i noticed was when looking through the headset, the view is, i want to say, a 60 degree field of view with a black box around the edges no matter what phone you use. I tried a samsung s5 and an s6 edge plus. With the black box it just doesn't feel very immersive. Cardboard V.1 does a better job than this thing. Very comfortable to use, the padding is high quality and the lenses are actually nice and clear. the distance of lens to phone is about 2 inches or so, it seems as if the focal point in the lenses aren't correct for this distance. Could be better if it had a more immersive feel.

Not Bad
Quality construction. Comfortable fit. Lenses are crystal clear and easy to focus. This headset does not have anyway of interfacing with Cardboard for iOS. The Bluetooth controller is not supported on any of the VR apps for iOS that I have tried.

The good: Great price, worked as advertised. The bad: A little flimsy, but not bad for the price.
