Espoma Garden-Tone Plant Food, Natural & Organic Fertilizer for an Abundant Harvest, 4 lb, Pack of 4

I've been using various fertilizers made by Epsoma for over 10 yrs and it's the brand I prefer to use.I recommend any of them, including the Garden Tone, Holly Tone and Flower Tone.I have a few flower gardens and a huge vegetable garden every summer and these products help me achieve both bountiful and beautiful gardens!!!

The fertilizer works great; I’ve certainly noticed the difference in my crops. They’ve grown very quickly and the amount of vegetables/fruit sprouting is incredible. Bumper crops on every plant. Only downside is that it is a very strong, pungent smell AND my dogs want to eat it. Be careful if you have pets. If you fertilize plants, make sure your plants are inaccessible to your pets. That and the smell is the only reason it isn’t a full 5 stars, but there’s nothing to be done about that. I will still use the fertilizer. Fortunately, my vegetables are in a raised garden or in individual pots.

I have loved all of the epsoma brand products that I have purchased. It’s simply the best there is, in my opinion. I have a garden shed with quite a few fertilizers and I promise you, Miracle grow and like products don’t even compare to Epsoma! You WILL see a difference with this!

I bought this fertilizer for our tomatoes we have planted recently. Even though the quantity wasn't that much, but I quickly noticed the difference in made on our tomatoes. Price is reasonable and it's a great option given it's organic. I also noticed the smell of it wasn't very pleasant, but I'm not sure whether this is normal or not. I like that it was available on Amazon as other stores make it hard to be delivered to your home. I sprinkled the material around each plant and then sprayed water on them thoroughly. A week later, I saw the results.

What I say: Easy to apply, directions are clear, sort of dusty, smells a bit ripe.What my garden said: Nothing, but actions speak louder than words. My sunflowers, onions, herbs, and husk cherries all exploded after just one application. If plants could talk, they would ask for this stuff.

This is my second year using the product and I can say that the product works very well. I was an avid user of water soluble MG (the blue stuff that is synthetic) but wanted to try an organic fertilizer. I purchased the garden tone and my veggies absolutely love it as they seem to explode and thrive after a feeding. In my non-scientific opinion, I think my veggies did better with the Garden Tone than the blue crystal fertilizer.

If you can stand the smell of this stuff, stand back and watch your plants thrive. You can't overdose because it's an organic fertilizer. I use it for everything.

It does a pretty good job with most fruits and vegetables. I don't apply it to citrus plants, primarily tomatoes and sometimes strawberries (first time this season). The strawberries seemed to have liked it since I got way more berries this time compared to last year.

Expensive but it's organic and I like this brand.
