I’ve been looking for the perfect comforter forever. I get way too hot with a traditional down alternative one, so a light quilt with a blanket on top is my go-to. I like using duvets because you can change the look of your bed so easily, but all of the inserts I’ve tried were uncomfortably hot, even the lightweight ones. Ideally, I wanted a quilt with corner ties but my deep searching yielded no results. Also, I hate duvet clips. This comforter is just what I needed. It has the weight of a heavy comforter but the breathability of a regular blanket. I do get a bit warm during the night sometimes, but I think that’s mostly related to the fact that I sleep on a memory foam mattress. Even so, it’s the most comfortable and cool duvet insert I’ve found and I love it. It’s just right for a picky and high-maintenance (aka, me).

When I first opened I thought it was a little thin, but that’s how these are. It’s a different feeling how they lay against your body vs down. I can’t say enough good things about this blanket. It keeps you warm when you need to be warm yet cool when you need to be cool. To me it seems like it regulates. I suggested this blanket to a friend who then bought one for everyone in their house. I do suggest to get a 100% cotton duvet as the shell of this one is cotton. It is real silk and very good quality.

The quilt is perfect for the summer. It’s lightweight and soft. However, the quilt is NOT silk. The outside shell is cotton, but the stuffing is silk. That’s not why I took away a star. Once you wash the quilt and hang it to dry, it is SOOOO wrinkled. You will have to press the quilt with an iron or steamer (the iron is faster) before putting it back on your bed. You may be better off buying a duvet cover for the quilt so you only have to wash the cover more often.

This blanket has been great overall. Sometimes it does feel a bit warm, but it eventually reaches a nice equilibrium, and every morning, the temperature feels just right, and it is very comfortable.

I was really dubious about buying this. I've had a silk covered, down filled blanket for 25 years that I've used & washed to death, so it was time to replace my beloved blanket, but try finding one with silk outer fabric under oh IDK $500+, nope!All the ones I've tested are rough fabric, too thick, too heavy, loud, but this one is soft, completely silent and the exact weight.

I like the light weight of a down comforter, but they're just too hot in the summer. This silk comforter is just right so far. Very nice light weight, you still feel like there's a blanket on you, but there's not the heat you get with down.

Have had for a month now and absolutely adore this. Heavy but not too heavy, just wraps around you. Not bulky at all. Perfect temp scale for us on cold winter nights

This is a lovely comforter. It has loops so tying it into a duvet is easy. My husband and I sleep with the AC on and some nights I’m not as warm as I’d like. My husband thinks it’s perfect though, so it depends on the person. If you get chilled easily, you might want to select a heavier weight product.
