My water colour pictures are still rubbish but the paper is gorgeous to use!

Been using this to paint tattoo flash for about 5 years now. Literally the best paper out there. Kidded myself that I didn’t need to pay the extra and it wasn’t worth it for a few years prior, I was very wrong. You won’t be disappointed

I have used Arches watercolor paper for years. It is made from 100% cotton and absorbs the watercolor better than any other. The cold press method creates a beautiful texture that give my painting added depth and texture. This is a versitile paper at the best price I have found. I cut it to size as needed to use it for many different projects.

I bought this thinking it was a block, but it's a pad that is gluebound at the top, so I decided to use this pad for experimentation, especially with the decent price. I love the texture of this paper for wet-on-wet techniques, but it will definitely buckle a bit unless you wet + stretch the paper. It has never pilled or torn on me, even after reworking an area multiple times with gouache. This paper really makes colours pop and water easier to control. Can handle many glazes :)
