Great for spatchcocking turkey!
I purchased these several months ago and needed to spatchcock 2 turkeys. These were much safer than a heady duty serrated knife, were sharp and easily cut out the backbone. Took about 5 minutes per bird and since it was not a knife blade far safer. The fastest, easiest and safest spatchcocking that I have ever done through the years.I just do not know about sharpening (whether needed) and it sharpening is required, best sharpener to use.But a fantastic and strong scissor...full steel from blade through handle so you do not need to worry about the handles breaking off from the pressure to cut through the backbone. Very impressed....

Good minimalist design
This model is compact when closed, and it avoids any plastic. Fits the hand well, and the pattern of indentations on the handle keep it from slipping. Versatile due to the serrations on the blade which keep chicken from slipping while cutting it. I haven't had this long enough to know if it will survive repeated washing in the dishwasher.Quality of the blade seems good, but the grinding marks from manufacturing are not as fine as another more expensive scissors I bought at the same time. However, the other one doesn't have the chicken serrations and uses wood inserts on the handle, which won't be good in the dishwasher. Anyway, for now this one cuts just as well. Chicken, crab, meat.

Great product and design.
This is a fine kitchen shear. Effortless cutting of goat, chicken, and rabbit bones. I've also used it to cut loofa and it made clean cuts, unlike with scissors. The stainless steel is magnetic, too, so hangs on my knife magnet. Cool.

Surprising pair of shears!
This was kind of an impulse purchase, to be honest, because I already have this kitchen scissors everyone has. Mine are from Henkel, so I thought I was set. I was wrong. This set is clearly superior. For starters, it is razor sharp. It’s also built like they were getting ready for the apocalypse. Super sturdy, but still feels comfortable in your hands. It also surprised me that they are spring-loaded. The extra long “nose “ if these scissors made it super simple to go all through the best of a chicken while breaking down. Cut through it with ease and reached all the way across the chicken.I’m very happy with it.Pros:Super sharpVery sturdySpring-loadedLock mechanismConsNone yet

What a difference!
I just bought this 2 days ago, received it yesterday, and just used it today. I bought it to hopefully to make cleaning and preparing fish, specifically salmon collars, easier. Prior to this I used knives and regular kitchen shears and this really made a huge difference in time and effort. The design of the handles while it was not completely slip free, did help prevent slippage. The longer handles also helped give it more leverage and therefore more cutting power. It looks and feels like a high quality product and would be a great addition to any kitchen.I am very pleased and satisfied with this purchase and recommend it to others.

Good set of shears
I've been using an average set of kitchen knives for a couple of years now and decided that I needed a set of shears to make my life easier. Although I do consider the price to be a bit expensive for what the product provides, I liked how strong and sharp it was. I was able to cut through everything from bones to bread. It is a little bit hard to clean but that's definitely livable.
