Great knife! Just what i was looking for.
Got this knife today and before I start just wanna make one thing clear. I rated 5 stars because for the price this is an awesome knife and I can't wait to really test it out in the woods. Ok so let's review..Knife looks and feels great it's got some weight to it and good balance. The blade did come pretty dull but again for the price I didn't expect it to come razor sharp and I enjoy sharpening my own knifes and just by looking at it it seems it'll hold a cutting edge good. Saw blade doesn't seem like it would do anything though it works great for the fire rod. Handle wrap is decent though a bit loose like all knives come but I plan on wrapping my own paracord on it so no biggie for me.The sheath looks and feels good great army style look. It holds the knife in tight so should not be a problem to hang it upside down on hunting vest or backpack strap which is great and it has the holes at the bottom to make it all easier to do so.The knife is great I love it so far and I'm sure it'll work as good as it looks though I wouldn't rely on solely this knife until I get to work with it a while, I'd still carry my main survival knife in my bag. There is one disappointment though for me. I tested the striker which works pretty good though it's a bit short and when I tried to put it back in its little sheath the plastic handle broke and the rod came unstuck so I'm gonna get a different one to put on there. You won't be disappointed with this knife as long as you're not buying it just for the fire rod.

Clean lines, great value
I use these as knife blanks to put handles on. Much cheaper and better quality than buying a actual 'knife blank'. Has a brushed/matte finish to it but with time and patience you could polish it up. I did a quick 60 git, followed by 320 grit sanding just to make it pop a little bit. It's not razor sharp out of the box, but it takes an edge pretty easily. 5 minutes on a sharpener and it glides through paper like a hot knife through butter. The fire starter does make sparks but will mark up your knife. I was unsuccessful in starting a fire with it, but that may just be user error.Comes with a sheath. I love the tanto blade design. 5 stars for total value.

DECENT KNIFE, GRIP IS SMALL FOR LARGE HANDS
This is a decent, low cost knife to keep as an "extra" in my vehicle so I have one for unplanned trail adventures. The blade needs a good sharpening, but I expect to sharpen any new blade I receive. The grip seems a bit small for my hands. I do not think I have overly large hands as I wear large sized gloves. The handle could have been made slightly longer for a better grip. I removed the paracord handle wrap and put on a double thickness layer of longer paracord. That helped out as I now feel the grip is slightly better, plus I now have more than double the amount of paracord with me in the woods. The firestarter works well. I added a small velcro loop under the firestarter pocket. It keeps the firestarter cord secure and it is not secured in the knife loop, which I found to be annoying if I tried to draw the knife quickly. The knife is designed to have the firestarter and the knife handle both secured by the sheath's velcro loop. That means the firestarter gets caught up with the knife when you are drawing in a hurry. Not a great idea if you ask me.To me this is a decent, low cost option for a spare knife.

A great knife
I've had one of these knives for a few years and iv got a few other knives some of which are fairly expensive yet I consider this one to be my most utilitarian. It's big, sturdy, holds an edge fairly well and stood up to more abuse and work then thinner, sharper and often more expensive knives. The fire starter it comes with is adequate but nothing special. The canvas sheath is thin but iv had no problems with it at work, in nature or during emergencies. The paracord handle isn't the most ergonomic but it's not uncomfortable either.I like this knife so much I've given it as gifts and keep a spare just in case something ever happens to my orignal one.For $7 or less this is awesome.

Best $10 knife out there
I had to force myself to give 4 stars instead of 5 because as far as the knife goes you CAN NOT beat it. I took away a star because of the cheap flint striker and pocket on the side of it. I didn't buy this knife for it cause I carry a separate fire starter but even taking the rod out leaves a pocket that I have found to be useless because of the size. My suggestion would be maybe enlarge the "pocket" a bit. Even if it was just the size of a full bic lighter, it would be useful. Counting on the rod that comes with this knife as your sole source of fire making would be a death sentence I'm afraid. Would be nice to be able to even fit just a mini bic lighter would be great but nope it's even to small for that. You could keep a grease pencil in it (that would be more useful than the rod) but who wants to carry a grease pencil with their knife. About the knife now. Full tang Stainless steel with a decent edge when it arrived. I sharpened it a tad and every dang time I get it out to look at it or use it I end up bleeding. Not the knifes fault. I use and abuse it around the yard and camping. I have bought 3 of them and use them all. For 10 dollars they are worth every penny. I still might give this knife 5 stars just because of this tank of a knife
