This candle is divine! The soft orange color of the jar w/ gold top is aesthetically pleasing. The size is perfect, (could always be used for a sugar bowl after) The soy wax burns clean with little smoke. And the scent-WOW! The apple scent is absolutely addictive! Light, fruity but not overwhelming. Definitely not just for the Holidays.Since receiving this candle, I have burned it every day for a few hours, and it is still going strong. Looking pretty and smelling Just so good.

Updated!This was beautiful burning and the smell is amazing. However, even after all the tricks I know, it burned straight down the center. I won’t be splurging on this one any time soon. That’s a shame, because it truly is perfect in every other way.This company is how the world should be run!They read my review and reached out to see how they could rectify the issue. They gave me two options, money refund or new candle. I choose to receive a new candle. I am so happy I did. It smells so wondrous and looks equally beautiful. I’m looking forward to many more candles in my future! I’m so glad there are people and companies that still care about the customer. This is definitely one of them.

I have purchased so many candles from this company. I have issues with my sense of smell. Thus, I tend to blame myself. My first disappointment was with the Grapefruit Leaves scent. However, my mom told me she could pickup on the faintest hint of scent in the air. I guess that’s on me. I have the Eucalyptus & Sage it’s amazing. I purchased the Eucalyptus & Fig because it’s vessel looks better in our bathroom. Do not by this candle. I love this company, but there is no scent in this candle. My son is on the edge of the spectrum, and he can’t stand super strong scents. He could barely smell anything. His strong sense of smell is one of his main issues. This was such a disappointment. I would avoid the Grapefruit Leaves, as well.This wonderful company redeemed themselves in every way. I should have complained about the Grapefruit Leaves candle at the time of purchase. Without expectation my mom said there was a package on our front porch. That is a constant occurrence because we live in a town of less than 5000 people.. However, I wasn’t expecting anything on that day. This wonderful company had sent me a replacement candle larger than my my original…and the scent…is perfect. BRAVO!!! WOW, I’m so impressed.

Great scent, lovely container, actually has a decent throw thag filled up my bedroom with a warm, relaxing aroma. The only problem is that the candle badly tunnels (some candles from this brand do that, but they tend to resolve themselves after an inch of tunneling, but that isn’t the case with this candle).Update: customer service reached out and replaced the product the Moroccan amber scent. The wick performance was much improved, so it’s clear that the company is listening to feedback and, as mentioned, the scents and packaging themselves are wonderful. Would recommend.

Update 5/19I originally left the three star review below because of tunneling. Not a terrible review… I got an email from the company offering me a replacement candle the very next day. This is pretty stellar customer service. Like my first La Jolie Muse candle, the replacement (not this particular model) burns perfectly and smells lovely. I’m revising my review to five stars.OriginalI know it looks like I have this candle is sitting on a pillow. 🤣 It’s on a glass table. My first La Jolie Muse candle was so awesome, I decided to get a second, different fragrance. While it is lovely and subtle, this pic shows first burn tunneling. I took it just over the four hour mark. Based on my experience with the first candle, I was kinda surprised to see this.

I really love the aesthetic of these candles, the pine scented candle really has a lovely fragrance, the fragrance of this candle specific I am not too fond of. These candles always come in a lovely votive that is great for decoration, but they tunnel terribly virtually half of the candle does not burn as they tunnel straight down. They would benefit from a wider wick that can produce enough heat to branch out. With the price of these candles it seems extremely disappointing and wasteful to throw them out with a straight burn.

Snagged this candle to match my decor around Christmas time- not only did it look great in our formal living room, but it lasted all season and smelt GREAT! I will be buying them for next year too!

Here was my first review of LA JOLIE MUSE: This candle did not burn well and the scent was essentially non-existent. This was not a positive purchase for me. I threw it out after the first 5 hours. BUT, something unheard of happened. Cyan, their Customer Happiness Specialist, reached out to me not once but three times asking me to give them another opportunity to make my purchase spectacular. I agreed and to my delight they offered me a completely new choice, no limitations, just select something I would enjoy. I did and within 4 days my new candle arrived and it was incredibly aromatic and just what I had hoped for. Not the greatest scent, but it looks so pretty displayed on my vanity.

I like the jar. Bought it as a gift. Wanted deep blue but probably should have paid more attention to the scent. It's okay but not my favourite. I didn't really smell the eucalyptus. But it is a nice gift and comes in a nice box.
