I came across this one and from the picture it looked like one that I've used for the last 4 years
I was looking for a tent for my son-in-law. I came across this one and from the picture it looked like one that I've used for the last 4 years. I ordered it and when it arrived, I was delighted that it was the same one I had purchased for myself. The tent has served me well and I'm sure my son-in-law will have similar results.

⚠⚠waste of $!!!!!!!dont buy!
Worst camping experience ever!!Rain ruined electronics scared my kids from camping ever again. Next time I won't buy cheap. That's for sure .. Sportsmans guide won't compensate but for the raggedy tent..Won't even give back shipping fees ..Take my word. Spend a little more it's worth it

Perfectly serviceable tent, be gentle
I bought this tent for light use while supervising one and two night youth scouting outings that are best described as late spring and summertime car camping. I would normally take a smaller and lower profile tent, but I'm starting to like my cot as I get older, and I couldn't pass up the $20 daily deal price tag at my local chain sporting goods store on this 8 x 8 floorplan that could presumably fit a 75" cot. So far, I've done a 2-night springtime outing in a developed campsite nestled in the foothills - no rain or more than a slight breeze. I was able to put it up relatively quickly and easily with no help -- just getting the front pole in for the rainfly was difficult. Unfortunately, with the lowish height of the dome, the cot didn't fit quite right --set off to one side and perpendicular to the door, the frame was pushing out the tent walls pretty drastically at the bed height, and it also ended up blocking part of the door in a sort of obnoxious and potentially painful way. I could probably have gone parallel to the door with a better result, more centered in the tent and away from the walls, but the configuration of other tents on our site and the slope wasn't right for that. So, since it was just me, I went diagonal. The tent is thin-ish and while it probably didn't get much below 50 degrees over the two nights, it felt slightly colder than some of my other tents do; I used a fleece bag liner for the second night and zipped all the way in the head portion of my mummy. On the up side, it seemed well-ventilated, though, so moisture wasn't an issue in the morning even with the cot touching the wall of the tent in one or two places. The zipper on the door does seem a bit fragile, and I can see how if it's a bunch of kids coming in and out of the tent with no regard to the cheap construction, they'll break it in no time. So far, though, it's held up to a careful adult in no hurry to get in and out. I'll probably take it out again for Memorial Day and see how it holds up, but with a tall twin air mattress and probably another person sharing the space. Really though, for a deeply discounted knock-off brand tent, it did pretty well. If your family likes to go to the city park for a day in the sun picnicking and playing, I could totally see having this be the shade/stuff/privacy tent, and it will do fine as a summer tent with slow unzipping and zipping of the door...

Broken zipper out of the box on new tent
Holy smokes. First time we set it up (for a camp out in our basement, fortunately) we discovered the zipper across the bottom of the opening for the door is off track. What?!? Terrible. I would like to contact customer service. (We’re not big campers...we bought this tent years ago but this was the first time using it even pulling it out of the box. We have the box and it’s obvious from the condition that it’s still new and never been set up outside once.) Columbus?? What say you???
